just watched the trailer, there's no more information about it, looks fun but just 2 eps?!?

totally agree!!! They did a nice job and the history line between the leads friendship is really nice. But they left the main couple romance aside the whole drama, even they have a thousand opportunities to get to know each other. Its a cute history but the time of the drama wasn't well used

it's a OK drama to kill time, such a shame that they get together almost at the ending, something at the whole development seems off, it's really easy going and cute but it needed less interviews and more main couple contact, super rushing end so as the romantic interaction between the couple

I hope this one come out this year at least

Just watch if you already watched or is watching the drama
the beginning of the movie is right where I stop it in the drama so I really liked to get some spoilers in some macro vision of what happen after, or even get ready for some characters long annoying life.
Yang Yang is absolutely amazing in the whole thing, even the movie is rushing and you can't get the essence of both main leads without enough time, they did a nice job.
Once you understand the the history will have no justice at certain point cuz is literally a short time to explain way too much things... But the kiss scene, my goshh I wish
At end they could really put something less superficial, something to complete and close the movie

I'm at 9th episode and I'm already angry in how heavenly lord behave up the spirit snake and second prince, the story line seems really heavy so far, by the comments I see no light part coming until the end, should I just drop?
cuz even I wasn't expecting a light drama (obviously) but I don't want to hate everyone or feel angry during the whole thing, this is not the reason why I watch dramas "//

Even I thought weird being 22 instead 24, I felt they could add development without actually get 24 episodes, they got time to do it...but their choice was to hurry with the plot and use a lot of time with those "nothing to add" scenes

two another episodes to go and I can say already that for me is a 8,5 (which is a nice rate)
Were sadly wasted at least 3 episodes in side plot stuff for nothing, they let aside the crown prince issue, Lu's family, FL mom's death and TWO couples to present all in the last episodes.
They had the opportunity and plot enough to mixed up and make everything on point:
crown prince
Lu's family
FL mom's death and FL and dad's relationship

Main couple marriage, kisses and first night (I was so mad at the waiting candle burn scene REALLY for what? at the end another cut kiss and that's it.)

ML's brother and Lady in waiting love
FL's Maid and ML's colleague
and much more could be arranged into a political but really romantic and soft drama, they could.
Wish they finish the story with a nice happy ending for every couple and nice relative :D

the FL is the annoying second girl who appears years after the "breakup" saying all the kinda sh*t she wants to the new girlfriend affirming that she's the past and love history of the ML, I would say that i waste time in this one, a bad choice

episodes 13, 14, 15 were such a skip motivation for me, wanted to skip everything, seriously. Nothing really wow happened besides her father appears after idk how long, forcing her to marry someone else, his crying scene didn't touch me a thing, because in the end nothing changes.
I wish I could get the "lady-in-waiting" family's case, but unfortunately, even episode 16 got "sad" scenes I was so annoyed by the fact that they had to break up and all that i couldn't get sad
ps: still into it, I will pretend these episodes happen in a different way lol

RIGHT? my gosh why would you put nice kissers together with a chemistry up to the sky and giving us a distant 3 sec kiss? Totally gotcha in the hate hate thing

since China started with the shorter dramas season, they've been also cutting the kisses, putting them in distant shot, and making kisses of 5 seconds, such a waste of good chemistry and good kissers actors😢

what exactly is the business 9fbthe Lady in waiting? idk how to put her in "peaceful" or "enemy" box, but anyway she's very suspicious 🤔

I was very ready for the scandal hahahahhaha, this "betrothed" guy is so shameless, I wish he really liked the FL so he could have the heart broken together with his petulance.
Even obviously family's arrangements can't be choose by your wishes, she's openly against the idea of they get married because she's not into him (so is he) and he keep imposing himself as her future husband forcing her to be in the frame of "his future wife", using her for get spot, I'll hate him :)
