thank goodness I found plenty of comments sharing the same opinion, because it's taking me way too long to go back and actually want to watch this drama which is absolutely essential to me.
Took me two whole days to watch episode 6 and after that not even the beautiful first night got me excited to keep watching! And after the king admitted why the left state council has so much power (and still not explained how, he is basically god???) it got even worse cuz I thought the king was just in grief, not great but hey give him something but NO he shown to be the worse candidate for the throne, the villain should have just taken the throne for himself, that weak look the king lives by gives me the ultimate ick
love the ost, the acting, the actors, romance is sweet, I don't feel the chemistry but they're so so sweet unfortunately the story did them dirty, the whole kill the bird after running after their dear life to catch???? kill me
If we think about it if it was so hard to catch without killing how the heck did the left state council had this gigantic bird in a cage for +5y? again, playing god
too much politics spoiled the romance and the story progression, I'll let myself forget about this one for now
ok but if the left minister/left state council can do literally anything, what's the point of having a king, a crown prince etc etc?! might as well just leave the kingdom to him
OMG ON 27 NOW and the stupid ML's brother is getting waaaaaaay too much screen time, just crossing fingers he won't spoil my perfect idol drama, the fact he turned his wife into a poison tester masked as intimacy disgusted me
I just finished Story of Kunning Palace, from my understanding this drama has a similar plot, but what I'm looking for it's a bit more romance comparing to SKP maybe I'm wrong but blossom seems to be a bit more refreshing... (I'm trying to give a last chance to the reincarnation 2nd chance plot before admitting I don't like it 😅)
Just found out about this now wayyyyy after watching the drama, makes me want to rewatch so badddd, loved the program, very funny and nice to see the actors enjoyed filming just as much we loved to watch
I'm about 25 episodes in, will finish for the sake of it but definitely wasn't up to what I expected, the facts are there like every xianxia recipe but all over the place, I don't feel the impact of characters actions, the switch just isn't there 😔
I did! After 5 episodes I understood that as much as the cast is nice and story has a interesting way of portraying character's daily life is somehow not going anywhere, their feelings end up getting dense of me and unfortunately had to drop
hi 👋🏼 thinking about starting this drama but before that I'd like to know a bit more about it, without many details that could spoil the 'fun' because the rating is really low (yes I know the rating here can be unfair but 6ish is scary 😆) I'm expecting a bit of an unconventional development but still expecting a bit of romance, I find that slow burn when done right can be very satisfactory. Not the biggest open ending fan but let's see, am I gonna get actual romance or just main leads thoughts, angst and stares? is the development justified? does it actually make sense somehow?
enlighten me please idk what to expect from this drama but it seems nice to watch
although the idea of the drama is very nice, didn't have a great execution, missed the second leads story, it could be easily developed. I think ML's story leaving over and over again made me tired, the time skip just wrapped up my disappointment. They wasted time on her waiting and running after him and left a few good storylines fly away
glad you commented exactly so I wouldn't have to fry my brain out to do so, it felt very out of place every step towards developing all the doors opened. Too frustrating to watch because in reality nothing much happened, the whole plot was half way done
I'm around ep 10 now and of course I can understand why ML is so obsessed with the FL and vice versa but I just can't understand why he only fights for his friendship with her instead of friendship in general. Early episodes shown that he was very good friends with the other kids as well, but we do not see him fighting for their friendship.
Also would make much more sense for him to be fighting for any kind of friendship, because he has no access to anything besides study, which isn't healthy, he's never even practicing any sport whatsoever
I wish they weren't so much of a rumour in the school also, don't get why she and the gang are so much of a deal, sure got crushes in school but they're always together and the romance shouldn't really be the focus at school, which is understandable, and it makes me even more confused about why ML and FL are paired when the group it self is always together (in the view of his family)
know this drama is meant to be a piece of life kind of drama, but although I haven't reached half of the drama yet, the way his parents deal with stuff it has been completely skipabble for me (it's personal, I can't deal with the angst) waiting for him to be freeeeee
I'm around episode the 8th episode and still trying to get into what's happening in the story, I'll try a lil harder cuz I like the type of plot, I'm just really lost 😆😆😆 and hope it's worth it cuz i love the actors and the rating is too high to ignore it I'm open to insights if anyone has it
this drama is so well done, unfortunately didn't do it for me, I had fun during everyone's stories but it felt like the main narrative wasn't going anywhere, it really dragged on for me.
Wish we could have a bigger piece of second couple to pretend like we had something to grab off romance in the drama.
Good drama, surely but I personally wasn't going for it, kinda disappointed
I loved the movie till the twist (which was so nice the way they executed) was realistic but I was hoping for them to talked it out at least to explain things to each other poor ppl who got involved in their ways, unfair to know they wont get actual love
Too many good plot but mediocre delivery, the act is great through the drama but the story is too stale and boring…
oh my you're so so right! I felt forced to finish as well although I liked the drama! Hard to explain, but the round and round of the same exact situation for all characters killed me a bit
