I really liked the anime, so I'm skeptical of live action for this.

I agree that the episode 7 made me feel better that I kept watching. I was ready to drop soon, too.

This gotten to be even funnier. I do like that Ji Yeon takes ownership of her poor personality traits, but is still learning lessons.

LOL!!! Yes! And I can't be the only one that feels he needs to give the whole "face twitch" to show his extreme angst a rest already. It's so forced. Plus, he doesn't need it. This started off strong, but is already on the decline.

That whole fire situation was hilarious. I mean... only the oven was on fire initially and they grab each other like they can't just run some other way. Or better yet, around it. And the way the fire would burst whenever that guy tried to get out. ONLY at the moment when he tried to get out. I was laughing hard. The way he splashed the gasoline, the floor would have been on fire too and they would have been long dead. They need to leave stuff like that out of this show. If they have to rely on terribly-done "events" like this to progress the story, they are going to have a really hard time keeping people for 26 more episodes, lol.

Jo Kwan Woong in "Gu Family Book"... I just kept asking aloud, why has no one killed him yet? People were just killing folks left and right. "Oh, you're over there eating rice? Joseon Slash!!!" So, why couldn't they just take his evil self out a long time ago? It really did get boring. It was obvious the story relied way too heavily on that character.

I was talking about this with a Korean friend. We see it as a possible way to break stereotypes in Korean culture, since age is such a big deal there. Women are usually the ones that are treated as being "past their prime" and old once they hit just a mere 30yrs old. If young men, that are independent adults, find these older women attractive and desirable, it helps to shift that negative way of thinking.

Yes!! I kept remarking on her hair in my head. It just looks terrible. I don't think that's a good color for her, either. Not understanding what's going in with that. Also, her make-up isn't that flattering. I've seen regular photos of her and I just don't get why they are piling the stuff on.

LOL@ at the end of ep 2. That would so be me. 25 is too young even for me, so I could imagine. I'll see where this show goes. It's goofy enough to where it doesn't fall in the "stupid" realm.

Seems like this should have an English title of "Cougar's Romance" or "How Ji Yeon Got Her Groove Back". Ahjumma loving! LoL. But seriously, though, I'm going to try this out.

Oh man, I really don't get people who review that early. Even if they dropped it, they still didn't watch enough to give a well-posed review on the show. Need to watch at least 50% to review, imo.

I think the point is FOR people to dislike her, and that's why they made her character so dislikeable at this point. Regardless of her mourning, she's incredibly rude and disrespectful to others. And I think she's as dumb as she acts, but not in regards to being unintelligent. She's still extremely immature with what she's doing, and needs to grow up if she wants to have any chance against the big dogs. I'm sure there will be some lesson/shift for her down the line in 29 episodes left to go.

Baek Mi Nyeo is already my favorite character. I mean, she piqued my interest in the first episode, but she just secured me as a bonafide fan with episode 3. I am Team Her.

AND it just clicked that she played the Mother in "I Hear Your Voice". I didn't even recognize her! Ok, TeamBaek, but ultimately TeamKimHaeSook.

Even when he's a good guy, he's bad! LoL. With that face, eyebrows, and hair, how could you trust his words? He looks like he's been an active mafia member since he was 2yrs old.

To help anyone who hasn't watched this yet, there are spoilers-O-plenty below. I mean MAJOR SPOILERS. Don't even glance down, lol.

Honestly, NEITHER one of them should be falling first for the other. You should watch to know why. :-)
