I haven't started watching yet, because I'm waiting for the end of the broadcast to see what the ending will be…
The wedding of ML ultimately did not take place and was postponed by the king. It seems that when FL finally returns to her family home, she will also be forced, due to family reasons, to marry her assistant Shao Qi Min, but this wedding will not happen either. And our couple will be together. As for a happy ending, with Chinese dramas, you can never be sure.
the clips we’ve seen of FL who seems to be dead, I’ve been thinking it could be this poison. I can’t imagine…
It also makes me wonder how it would be possible to legally marry Murong Jing He if she actually becomes the wife of Prince Yue Qin beforehand. It doesn't seem like he's going to die anytime soon. Is she trying to run away from him? I suppose there must still be something we don't know at this stage of the plot development.
If Yue Qin and Mei Lin actually get married, what would have to happen to Prince Yue Qin for the FL to later become Murong Jing He's wife? In episode 5, when Yue Qin tried to get Mei Lin out of prison, he prepared a poison that makes a person appear dead for three days, only to miraculously come back to life afterward. So, could it be that Yue Qin might poison Mei Lin again?
Wow, I'm struggling with how to react to that episode. First, I think Gwijoo needs to lose his fixation with saving…
I maintain my theory that it was ML who saved FL. In my opinion, the family ring indicates this. Do Da Hae didn’t steal it, but has had it for a long time. I believe she received it from the future ML when he rescued her from the fire. This doesn’t exclude the possibility of her having some extraordinary powers that we are not yet aware of. The words of FL that moved me the most were: "I'm just an average person. I'm actually below average. I can't deal with all these superpowers." I also started to suspect that the moneylender is behind the fire at the school, although I hope she doesn’t turn out to be such a terrible person.
In today's episode, we saw FL storing something in a yellow pouch. My guess is that it contains the family ring from Bok Man Heum's dream. The sister suspected that she was stealing it, but I think she was putting it on ML finger. Perhaps the future ML, while rescuing her from the fire, gave it to her at that moment. In one of the series' photos, ML is wearing a family ring with a black stone. Jang Ki Yong said that the plot is unpredictable, so I'm hoping the screenwriter will pleasantly surprise us and our predictions won't come true.
In my opinion, the main character's family is also cheating. Their wealth isn't owed to work or fortunate circumstances, but rather to the gift of clairvoyance possessed by the mother. Her prophetic dreams give her a tremendous advantage over ordinary mortals. This isn't fair competition. The grandmother uses her power solely to increase her wealth, rather than trying to prevent misfortunes that she knows will happen. Only her son has worked as a fireman, the rest lead rather idle lives. She also attempts to exploit the financial status of the main female character, treating her as a mere tool. She's meant to be a remedy for her lonely, unhappy son's troubles. She doesn't require her to love her son, only to care for him and his daughter. Essentially, she wants to buy a wife for her son and make a deal with her. It's no coincidence she mentions that her son will inherit the gym after marriage. She lures her victim with money because she herself does not see her son's qualities and only constantly chastises him. Therefore, the alleged "mother" FL despises this family has set them as her target. According to her, all their diseases consume them because they can afford to suffer; as they do not have to work hard to earn a meagre living. In fact, the family of the 'scammers' work for their money. They spend a lot of time and effort to take over the assets of their victims. And they do it in a legal way (a court case), taking advantage of other people's weaknesses and despicable characters. We also do not know what they do with the money so acquired. Perhaps they have some larger goal in mind than just the desire for quick enrichment. Both families are atypical, and it takes one to know one.
To be honest, especially with this couple, I wouldn't exactly expect smooth sailing when conflict arises. They…
I share similar thoughts. This drama has stood out so far with a solid, well-thought-out script. However, in episode 12, even the dialogues were surprisingly weak. Ji Hyuk talks so perfunctorily about her supposedly traumatic childhood. Despite the actor's skill, it's hard to care. The main couple's breakup has a fragile justification. It is a breakup for the sake of a breakup; it does not serve to deepen the characters' relationship. A typical plot ploy to create anxiety in the audience. The tone of the story is also changed too abruptly. Too much drama and clichéd solutions typical of dramas were packed into one episode. This gave a caricatured and unintentionally funny effect. The scriptwriter did not showcase his inventiveness. I don't expect much depth from this genre. Often the aesthetic qualities compensate for the script's shortcomings, but here it seemed that one could have more confidence in the author and his skills. From the solid land that the series has been so far, it has become a meaningless whirlwind. So far Ji Hyuk hasn't become the solid land he wanted to be for Ji Won either. ML and FL should show more intelligence, considering they are experiencing their lives for the second time.
What bothers me most about this ex-girlfriend, Yu Ra, is that she is an almost cartoonish, exaggerated character. She's just a typical spoiled rich brat, like so many characters in TV series. She's boring and predictable for the viewer. The writer didn't show any creativity here; they took the easy way out, which gave the story too much of a soap opera vibe. They could have made more effort. Meanwhile, Min Hwan and Soo Min are complex characters brilliantly portrayed. They are villains with human motives and reactions, which makes us sympathise with them a little. Both characters act wickedly and are pathetic but realistic.
and our predictions won't come true.
