We haven't even the confirmation that they really dated in the past. I don't want to know about spoilers about the novel or the trailer. In the drama, it's still a mystery what happened between them. I hope we'll know soon.

I hope he's a good friend, I was suspicious of the 3rd associate guy. I'll watch episode 18 tonight. I can't believe we're already past half of the drama.
What I really like in this drama is that although FL is the older one, it doesn't mean she is right all the time or that she will react with wisdom. In ep 17, she shows some immaturity because she grew up without owing anyone and quite sheltered by her parents.in real life, you can be in your forties and also react this way because you feel too much emotions. It's human. She was not able to empathize with ML and understand his point of view and she reacted very emotionally and bluntly (you could say , childishly, but it's not). She is so generous that she can't comprehend that although he is very grateful, he needs to repay her to feel equal. I'm loving these 2 unperfect and realistic characters. I can't wait for the reveal of what happened in the past to separate them. And I can't wait for their love to bloom. I'm grateful for the separation (time + distance) because they needed to break out of their fusional "sibling type" relationship to build a romantic relationship.
I am watching it on Viki, too. Currently on episode 4.A little annoyed at the fl and her lack of empathy towards…
I see. It didn't shock me because I thought she was reacting harshly because she worried. It's true that sometimes she doesn't understand his reactions but he hides his true feelings or problems because he doesn't want to be a burden.
