Well, I also prefer when it's subtitled but it is what it is. Maybe you'll get used to it after a few episodes. To me it was obvious that it was dubbed but I didn't even see a problem with the lip singing. I hope you'll still enjoy the show or any other Chinese show.
Why chinese dubs are so bad?! The lip synching is not matching at all. It's spoiling my experience with this beautiful…
It's in order to have a standard accent because China is huge and full of dialect. And also for the noise. There is always a lot of noise and people on set. Sometimes 2 sets are next to eachother. But a lot of actors dub themselves. Like ZiYu (Wu Suo Wei) is dubbing himself in this drama. Personally I really don't mind at all as I grew up in a country where ALL foreign movies were dubbed in my language with the mouth not moving the same. I'm just used to it.
Can people please put a warning and spoiler tag when commenting spoilers from the novel? Once again, lots of people don't like spoilers and love to be surprised by the drama. I've seen many spoilers about the original story and it's annoying.
Asking myself why did I watched 3 episodes of this mess? π Sound, acting and intimacy are bad, no plot and scene continuity. That's really painful and uncomfortable to watch. It's like the actors didn't believe in that project (I can't be mad at them). It's not because you stick your tongue out that it's gonna be better.
this is for the people who just lost somebodyβ¦ (tantai jin and ye xiwu if you know you know) it is healing indeed…
I remember tteotm and the blood spitting π I unfortunately dropped it around episode 30 but I couldn't anymore. So today I'm giving another chance to this couple πΏπ€
Episode 2 was so much better! Although this drama is not perfect, it's quite addictive so far and the chemistry between the 2 main leads (and both with Zhen Zhen) is strong. And Fan Xiao is really handsome.
This intro is a whole drama in itself lol. I'm 11 minutes in episode 1. I can't tell for now if it's good but the budget for the make-up must be very high. Shu Lang's face is so white with powder π―. It's a pity.
Honestly I was sad when I found out about subbing, I understand why it is but then why not subtitles in th end…
Tian has a accent and doesn't have the standard one. So it won't work. And maybe some actors don't want or don't have time to do the dubbing. Because sometimes famous actors don't dub themselves in some dramas and they do on others.
don't want to spoil hehe π you need to watch until ep 6, it will be explained then
In episode 1 when he sees his dad, his dad says that CC needs to stop messing around and work for his company if he wants to see his snakes. So it's the dad that stole his snakes.

Story seems interesting and the acting is good! Too bad it's only 1 episode a week.
