In my opinion, he gambled his relationship. He wanted to show CC what he had done because of the guilt. And he showed CC than WS didn't sleep with Guo. He tried to provoke him by saying he doesn't love him because he wants CC to fight for him and get angry to clear his sin. He said a few episodes ago, to WS, that he wants CC to have closure. And now CC has to make a choice and admit if he still love WS or if it's all the past. WSW doesn't know it yet but it worked and CC was able to cut ties with WS. So I think it was his plan. So today they can part ways or begins again on healthy ground.
I just don't understand WSW. What is he doing? He must be a masochist.
I think he wants to force ChiCheng to face Wang Shuo to win him back. He's testing him and gamble everything he has. When he was waiting at the ice cream shop, I think he was waiting for CC to find the journal and the pictures. Like "look what I've done and look what WS didn't do". Now choose. It seems that it worked because CC went to WS to cut it completely and have closure. WSW did say in earlier episodes to WS that he wanted to give CC closure.

Actually I watched the scene again and I made a mistake 😂😂 He had already changed his name. So he told CC that his name was Wu Suo Wei and showed him his identity card with the NEW name. It was not because his name was ridiculous but more unbelievable because I think it like an expression. Sorry for the mistake!
