This would've been better as 12 episodes. The main lead I could never root for and I did not think this drama had anything special to it. After episode 8, I lost interest, the story seemed to drag, imo...and the main lead didn't really care about his kids at all??? Like, they give us maybe a 5 minute crying session of regret, but then after that, like...he didn't care about losing his kids in this whole "changing your life" thing? At least in Go Back Couple, both main leads missed their children throughout the show. I just was so annoyed by this drama and the flawed logic.
I just finished watching I Have a Lover (2015) and saw the two main leads just came out with this drama! I think this is a good follow up to that since I really liked their chemistry in that drama
As a viewer watching this in 2021, I have to say I really liked this drama. It was addicting, and the story really picks up after episode 9, so if you don't like the turmoil and blood boiling in the initial 9 episodes, I'd say it's safe to skip around to get the background info, then continue from episode 9.
I did skip some plotlines, but the main story with the main couple was very entertaining. Prepare for a lot of cheesiness, drama, and really good chemistry between the leads.
Just disregard the reviews and give it a chance. I almost didn't watch this due to the reviews, but I'm glad I did.
I always come back and rewatch this drama, I've watched it 5 timesit was my first kdrama and that's where the addiction to dramas startedwatch it, give it a chance, even if it is old; jang hyuk does an amazing job
This show was incredibly well done, with a unique, twisted plot and unforgettable characters. Truly enjoyed it and hope they make a sequel someday to pull the gang back together.
I haven't finished it yet but i saw a clip, who was the girl that drug the male lead and wanted the peincess to…
it was the female lead's cousin, she does not succeed as he is able to control himself and force her out of the room, he cuts his hand to get the poison out of him and the female lead right away realized what the cousin did and she is kicked out
I wish there were more dramas this well written and realistic romance than over the top slo-mo and cheesy scenes....any recommendations like Ming Lan? I just rewatched this and want something similar cos I like the story so much
10 episodes into this and I'm enjoying it so far. Yes, it's slow paced, but I don't find it boring at all.
Nevermind, I reached ep. 14 and I'm starting to get bored and hella annoyed by the repetitive concubine scheming; I'm gonna start skipping all the Qiao scenes, I can't handle her anymore
he looks great for his age, I can't believe he's 50
