well it all depends on the eye of the beholder, One has their own choice on why one likes a drama or why one reasons are, something that might be overrated for some might feel underrated for others etc. My opinion is not based on the triangle in the void just plain funny and intrigues me more at the moment, and I dont see the chemistry with main couple tbh again Ill keep watching because void realm is so hilarious and in hopes to see that chemistry blossom in my eyes of the main couple. I started this because I saw the whole 3 or 5 mins trailer they released and found the couple endearing and gave it a try but not working for me, again Ill stay a little longer for the other things going on that peak my eye.

that's what I meant like everyone has her/his opinion but this discussion comments become a battle field some times, the poster never said she hated the character she just said she doesn't like her also her POV, I remember they used to hate on Esther Yu for same reasons in LBFAD and I would have to discuss the matter with cordiality insted of plain oh she is good, her voice pitch is like that and blah blah but I can't convince a few I couldn't in others lol, that's what this spaces are for. Neverthless I feel the same as the commenter i don't hate/like her at this point Im just enjoying the other real (void) it seems more fun than heavenly but still watching some of main actress scenes I also like the relationship between the sisters I hope it doesn't change.

Whennetflix creates this concept is fine if it is their original content and they release it at once is easy to binge watch and if feels like long length movie instead a 16 -20 weekly episodic drama

I watched all his dramas the only one I didn't like is Hwarang maybe bec he was 2nd lead lol but I fell for him in High Society eventho he was second couple I enjoyed his character and his love story the most....I go back to watch their plot from time to time....

I understand all that, and I fell bad for her first few episodes right now I just avoid her scenes not my cup of tea, maybe she has some character development Im expecting....

OMG so yeah, martial arts is not everything, and you don't need to be the agressive cold hearted female lead to be bad ass....she challengind Wu Dai made episode 8 so funny and Im living for their interactions Void Realm is supremacy in terms of funny and interesting I get bored at the heavenly realm tbh

umm she is not hating her she doesn't like her, and she gave some valid points because I feel the same lol

I actually like her in first two episodes and when she is with the sister as of right now she is too much maybe she changes later on right now I found myself enjoying the Void Realm is so freaking funny but heavenly is so boring right now....

I just find the heavenly realm super boring so far up to ep 8 im enjoying what is going on in Void Realm much more all the conspiracies, the "brotherhood" the fighting for the princess attention lol love how the princess without having martial arts cultivation she is inteligent and beat Wu Dai in a snap lmao.....so I fast forward to most of the Voids scenes and the sisters interactions mainly

well Sargeant is also showing untrusty antics so every time he clutch his fist Im like OOOkkkk there is jealousy, there is envy what is it? lol so it will get more messier once he founds out who the eunuch is

Is not comparison, it is just natural to try to look for something to meet the expectations of something we like overall, people keep get distracted by Esther's pitch voice, but the drama itself sucked me in, and trust me Im not XianXia fan but always tried and nothing worked until LBFAD sucked me in with everything but as you said above LBFAD wasn't your taste this is yours. I compared it because someone else did, but usually i like a drama for what it is and gives me at a specific time, and so far I find the story of the 3rd prince and QingKi more interesting and the void realm has more intrigues than the immortal one, also in LBFAD every realm was interesting IMO.

do I have to watch taxi driver 1 for taxi driver 2, like I went through a lenghty video recap of the whole series 1 and I know the characters....

the only drama Ive enjoyed thoroguhly in this genre was Love Between Fairy and Devil anything else comes very low for me, this one caught my attention as you not a great fan of ML bot all the other 3 and the characters got my attention, I know I will be doing some fast foward specially to second couple and what FL will be capable of achieving other than that, Ill be watching until the end for the 2nd couple and then i see a 3rd couple in the making which I also feel Ill be drowned to it.

Its ok Im actually a big fan of LBFAD and only thing they have in common maybe the costumes, but main couple story wise I dont know, Im actually watching for the second couple like I like the story of the first couple but I feel like is been told before, I like villains become softer bec of the love of fl troupe and what Ive seen third prince is not as evil as all the people in Void Realm, he is naughty bad at this point but not totally evil like the rest and i feel bad for QinKui wonder how is she going to get out of that place......so Ill keep watching for them...
