Did you read the synopsis right? and you know what this is about I assume, or you just dive in to dramas without making your homework....I knew exactly who they were from the alter world, who he was going to become and who the characters were, main leads and villain......without even reading any of the webtoon that's another source too if you didn't get any of the first episode....

OMG this is lit love the boy band kids they all so precious I feel bad for them and Kim Min Gue is so freaking funny I knew he was going to nail it, he actually is acting like webtoonish character lmao love him, for those who read the webtoon spoil me, jeon woo and heavenly priest can swap bodies is he there also.....? Ok Im a sucker for romance and I looooooooove it but right now I am not prepared for it or at the glimpses of it....is it only me? because I love both actors and the pairing but I was expecting the looks at each other like more into ep 6 or 7, or am I overthinking it? Like I like the dynamic of the 2 on epis 1 and 2 the banter, then the working together like they will be bad ass powerful Joseon couple, I wanted that foundation first and then they can stare at each other while they fall in love solving cases lol but maybe it is just me overthinking the way she dresses him, he gives her the apple, he smiling when remembering of her, him been a complete dork when he is around her....well is the PHS effect ughhh I fall for every time!

I understand the rating system, because I have been a vivid case of those bipolar overrating of a drama while I watch if I like it. Because for my years of experience new watchers would look at those ratings and missjudge the drama by it. So that's why I am like wth? But I understand the verified ones Im also one of them :)

well I dont know what chdramas have you watched I think i have watched over 80 or 100 and they do repeat or mix the couples, like first fl with 2ml or viceversa, and when I say milk I dont mean 5 or 6 of them but from 2 or 3 dramas together....I have the dramas in my head but I would have to go look them up but I have seen like 10+ paired together multiple names compared to kdramas only 2 or 3 come to mind.

that's fine that's yor opinion I also dislike other actors but never take sh... personal to not like someone when I like what I see or they play a character I like, personally I like him as an actor, usually only if Im a super fan I will validate the acting and his personal life or way of thinking to fangirl over someone, otherwise i will just ride with the drama Im watching..... but he is def not a misogynistic for saying that about a woman he would like to marry IMO.

They changed the FL again because I know Chao Yue and I made a comment about not knowing about the new FL Im lost with this one lol

I know he has a couple, but this is the actual first one Im watching with him OMG when they take off all that ancient cloth and wigs it is like they take 20lbs off. He looks super cute!

I don't know much never read the GHP but I like the plot, the romance=the couple they become, and the friends that will help them, also I like Joseon era investigative things and also strong female lead....and they giving me all that.....

Also, all the palace backstabbing I love the mistery to find out who is the biggest backstabber lol.

why rating so low? wow maybe glinche it always happens with trending dramas sigh! So far without knowing much about the source (GHP book) I am enjoying this drama so much I don't know if it is my bias for PHS and So Nee lol but love the plot, the romance=the couple they will become, and the friends that will help them, also I like Joseon era investigative things and also strong female leads (both lady and servant treat each other equals)
Also, all the palace backstabbing I love the politics games they play, and to find out who is the biggest backstabber lol

Im actually liking this, going only for episode 1st but eventho FL is morallly gray I like her, also Yu Meng Lo is sooooooooooo freaking cute in this I hope he doesnt become bad after he finds out about her lies....but watching it seems interesting!

not a fan or anti fan, just enjoy dramas in general, I read what you wrote below, I think everyone has his ideal type in a partner, he basically has , a conservative/patriarchy mindset, and to each its own he must have his reasons for me he is firmly putting his boundaries no one from entertainment IMO there are women that are also drawn to provide those 3 things he is asking for.

That Soju is the best drink when eating anything, lol Im not an alcoholic but everytime I go to a korean bbq or restaurant I drink a bottle enough to make me tipsy I prefer this drink over any western drink tbh there is something about it, I love it. Anyhow, being an alcoholic is a choice I won't learn it for a drama I found out about Soju while going out with Korean friends here in the USA and since then I always take 1 bottle or 2 while I eat. Also, is a work tradition for koreans (the ones I know even here) to go out for drinks and eat after work, what is being shown in dramas is magnified to 200% like in any entertainment movie/drama (western) unless is based on real life events or a documentary.
