The novel is super long (nearly 2.5 times the length of 'Love Like the Galaxy), it focuses on daily life too, but it's not draggy or boring. (which indeed shows a high-level writing skill of the author). In the novel, the main storyline is about the most famous historical event - nine princes fighting for the crown prince position in Qing Dynasty.
Some other dramas have this plot too ( like 'Scarlet Heart'). But this novel is from a different view and focues on happy life after marriage and warm family relationships, instead of scheming and heavy political plots.
So I guess this drama will use the princes' settings and deliver relaxing and comedic plots. (Although it adapted a lot from the novel). Btw, the ML will be the winner:D
