My most impressive one is Love in the Rain, 20 years ago, a very classic rep drama.which was very popular in China. The recent one I like is Couple of Mirrors, Two FLs. And I agree with you, I like the vintage vibe which is unique in this genre. ☺️

You probably saw the news from Weibo, where a lot of haters from other fandoms. If you check Xiao Hongshu (Rednote), many normal people are commenting there, they really like it this drama, I've seen quite a lot of comments praising it is much more intereating than other flat and draggy dramas. ☺️

I really don't get the big deal about the AI Intro and I don't think it's because production wanted to save money.…
My guess is they went with an AI-generated intro because this drama is very plot-driven. If they used actual scenes from the drama, it would probably spoil too much of the story. 😊
