I keep telling yall the RACIST thai entertainment industry was trying to fake dark skin actresses but no one wanted to believe me. Shes too average to be a celebrity and so she thought faking dark skin would set her apart. who knew rich nepo babies could be so desperate? lol
As Bright's contract ends, he confirmed that he's going to leave Gmmtv and start his own company under his name.
i don't care for him but i also don't see why he or the company would want him to be leaving. his ship merchandise with Win always sells out. Clearly hes the most popular among them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Why do some people argue that bright's acting is bad? I think he acts according to the character. If it needs…
he is not good at acting. and the fact that hes been given lead roles since day one makes his success feel undeserved imo. i don't like when the industry shoves untalented people down my throat and thinking i'm suppose to worship them "just cause"
he has a nice body but thats all i can really say about him.
If I need to show someone a comment full of misogyny, toxicity and disgusting assumption I'll show yours. You…
She's an adult celebrity. Public opinion/criticism is something that is expected for someone in her career path. People have something to say about EVERY actor or actress. Stop acting like these celebrities deserve special treatment over other people. Take a look Build Jakapan's page and see the divisive sentiment on his page.
"Pretty privilege is a real thing" notice how you erased colorism and replaced it with "pretty". Nah its colorism. Because like i said, her visuals aren't really that good compared to other actresses, its the white skin thats hardcarrying her place in industry/society (and to reiterate, its countless others but shes one of the most obvious imo)
"it doesn't mean they're talentless or unworthy of fame"
In most cases it does, Just look at Tu and the countless actresses at GMMTV. Most of them are bad aside from 1 or 2. There is not a single dark skin girl in the roster, so tell me again on how they value "talent" if they can't look pass skin color???
They're not going to hire a dark skin girl because it has alot to do with classism and helping the beauty industry sell skin brightening creams which mostly women buy.
atleast she is a good actress far better than those around her age and even older than her in current Thai industry…
i'm not bringing down a person of color? She actually just as pale (if not paler) as some Europeans. Her features also fit the european aesthetic more (which means she could still benefit from white privilege)
what i am merely doing is expressing a hot take on how badly the thai entertainment industry is being ran on nepotism/classism.
Usually when actors don't fit the visual standards in Asia, its because wealth is the reason for their ascend to fame. Kim Go Eun is the same. I could name countless other male actors. The majority of the asian acting world is a cesspool of silverspoon nepobabies.
You can't use ad hominem attacks like "misogyny" if i equally express the same opinion about other male actors like Off Jump0l, nor "racism" if i am advocating for the dark skin women.
Obviously you don't care about equality when to comes to more dark skin representation. Maybe you should look at yourself first before calling others racist.
what do you gain by commenting that here? fucking loser
I merely speak the truth. she isn't the only one at GaslightTV either.
we keep getting mediocre celebrities because no one is calling them out on their nepotism practices. Their roster has been getting so subpar its not even funny at this point.

i have to disagree. As an actress, she's pretty mediocre.
"if pretty is all it needs to be a actress in your standard thank god those who give her the roles dont have the same opinion as you"
Being pretty actually doesn't matter to these racist/classist thai directors because the criteria for casting thai celebrities is not actually about looks or talent. but connections and class.
She only has a career because shes white and is 100% a nepobaby with connections to the rich/higher elite. Shes a celebrity that was PLANTED in the industry, not one that auditioned. Its a career built on PRIVILEGE only.
If directors actually cared about talent, we'd see more dark skin women in lead as well as blasians (but of course not a single thai drama fan cares about equality or equal opportunity)
If she had the same face and skills but instead was dark skinned and poor, she would have never been hired. Thats just facts.
I told myself i was going to drop this because i was bored off my mind but i wanted to keep watching for snippets of my fav. In watching some of it, the villain was poorly developed imo and no one else was likeable at all. some of the female actors were just plain bad. I just had to skip their scenes for my own sanity. It must be nice to be hired for anything other than talent :) I would not watch again at all. GMMTV needs to get it together with their roster. I've yet to find any actress that i would actually follow outside of the show. This is what happens when your company is built on a bunch of nepo babies. I hate thailand sometimes.
Another racist Eurasian faking dark skin in her MV thumbnails. Its almost like they NEVER want to help blasians or dark skin girls be represented in media. She's just some rich guy's kid / nepo baby who bought lessons from YG. She's not a real star with god given talent or someone who had actually work their way up. Thai entertainment will always be a joke because of people like her.
more like its bold of you to think they aren't tan filtering some of these chicks when they clearly are. why else would they do this dark skin fakery? we all know Thailand is a white worshipping country so if they can get away with painting a girl brown instead of hiring a real dark skin girl, they would do it. I always say this but GMMTV is the 2nd racist company next to Channel 3.
no, even in other pictures, you can see her skintone isn't that different from other GMMTV actresses. Her profile picture on Mydramalist is proof and also her appearance on Not Me (she looked very white there). They're faking dark skin representation. They don't have a single dark skin girl on their roster but have been tan filtering some of their actresses brown lately.

so yeah, fake tan/dark skin.
This is how she looked in Not Me https://otakukart.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Eugene-.jpg
