I'm pretty sure that it has been broadcasted because I've read a couple of people's reactions to the latest episodes. They're probably just a little late on putting up the episodes.
Yes, I am currently watching Vampire Detective and I am loving it! The only thing that kind of concerns me --…
I actually don't think that San is a true vampire. I think that he is some kind of hybrid instead. Because he doesn't really get affected by blood or the sunlight. The only thing is that he gets these "visions" when he smells blood and the fact that he is super strong ('cause I definitely believe that he is stronger and a better fighter now then he would be if he were human). And maybe the fact that he heals quickly, if I remember correctly. Anyone with me on this theory?
My favourite scenes are seriously the ones with Madoka's parents. It's just so hilarious how his family believes that he has a secret girlfriend and Madoka is just too honest for his own good. Like when his father asked him how far he had gone and he literally named a place x'D
I think that the movie lacked structure and was kind of vague. Although I did enjoy it I struggled with keeping up with the plot and the characters. I do think that Joon did a really great job and I found his character intriguing but also kind of inconsistent. Also, I don't really mind the sex scenes, I they contributed to the plot :P.
It certainly is a different drama from what we might be used to. It doesn't have that very direct plot of "I'm a poor girl fighting for my dreams who met a rich guy who turns out to be my childhood friend and now we're planing on taking revenge on our parents." or similar. Sure, they go to Urk and things happen but there isn't really like a "main mission" or however I should describe it. What drives to plot is the development of the characters and their relationships. That's what keeps this drama and its plot going! And damn, you need to have some superb characters if you want them to carry an entire show. Which I believe they managed to do with flying colours in this drama.
After 2 years of not being able to check my MDL account, I logged in again last week because I was bored, I missed…
I'm currently watching Healer, I'm halfway now, and I had the same thing where I didn't really get into the first few episodes but then around episode 5 or 6 I got completely hooked and I'm so in love with it now!
For me, the biggest drawback of this drama was probably the pacing. I don't really now how to explain it but I found some episodes completely AMAZING (ep 11 and 12 were so great if I remember correctly) while some episodes were just a drag. So it was basically a rollercoaster of "Huh, this drama has potential" to "Nah, I don't know how I feel about this" to "OMG this episode was amazing" and ending up at "Meh?". Anyone who feels the same way or understand what I'm getting at?
I loved this drama. Everything from the actors, the characters, their relationships, the soundtrack, the settings and the plot. I get why some people might be upset but don't let the controversies ruin this drama for you because it is really great (at least I think it is). And now Jung x Seol are one of my favourite couples of all time ^^
Even though I did finish this drama and I liked the cast I do feel like I could have spent my time on better things...
