the drama looks like it will be good but I don't like Youku
Youku has some good dramas, I think, just that they weren't well-promoted, so Youku always lose the opportunity to be credited with their good ones. The ones they promote heavily tends to be the ones that can be easily criticized. Basically, they're a company that does not take the time to research on the products they have in their storage. They place their bets on the wrong ones, I think π

Ziqi's love for Mu Yao is more out of loyalty and sense of family. It wasn't romantic, but he didn't know that because basically he didn't know what "being in love" is. He had nothing in life as a reference. He realizes it later on when he does things and reacts to Ling Miao Miao that he wouldn't with Mu Yao. But of course they might change it all up for the drama adaptation. I don't know anything about this drama's director so I don't know what to expect.
