I see. Thank you. All we can hope now is for them to cast Ziqi well. Arthur getting the role is just great casting, in my opinion. It's tough for me to see any one else as Ziqi. I just really hope whoever gets the role in the end is going to be good and that the production is good as well.
Thinking of Orchid's early life, it wasn't so bad. She was alone with and then without her master in the hall for thousands of years. And the immortals who do come to the hall were not so kind. At least she was away from all the politics and all the conflicts. Although isolation is lonely, the positive thing was that her heart wasn't corrupted at all.

Still not done with this drama, but man, Leo is sooo good on this one. So many moments when he doesn't even look like he's acting but just living and breathing the character.
Orchid is a great character. There is no other character that will make Dongfang Qing Cang embrace his emotions. From a spiritual aspect, she is of a higher consciousness. While Dongfang Qing Cang was borderline neutral, she was the catalyst to push him to a higher state. Because in his neutrality, there is a bigger chance of going higher in consciousness than lower. A lot of spiritual book talks about this. Of course earth consciousness will perceive her as naive, But that's what I love about this drama so much. Because most of the time, the person you perceive as the not so smart and naive one is actually the one closer to the universal truth.
Yibo was rumored last yr and the rumor started again. I don’t think he fits this kind of role.
Thank you! Yes, I can't see Yibo as Ziqi at all. But then again, so many actors can surprise us. Just visually, in my head when I imagine Ziqi, I can't see Yibo.
