I love Qing Cheng’s character. He’s really expressing the dark side of love. And he and QT are bound by their deep bond. How can you give someone up when it was fated that only the two of you survive. It speaks a lot. It’s tragic. I love it. Of course I also love QT and FG. Their love is deep, but not dark. They’re each other’s freedom.

That’s the only other spider that lived in the whole batch of baby spiders. He’s her only family. So I get it.

The males are in full makeup and they look flawless, so I’m assuming it’s for the FG. Li Yi Tong is beautiful, but somehow the guys are outshining her beauty. 😂

I like his character and the acting is good too. It’s a contrast. His type of love is oppressive, whereas fugui’s love is free. Good juxtaposition of how not to love someone.

They’re each letting each other go along their “Dao”, the way which they think is best for them. I think it’s pretty romantic. It’s not toxic. I get the feeling Cheng Yi doesn’t like explicit romance. Doesn’t seem to be his preference. I don’t think there’s going to be heart wrenching tragic romance the way this is headed.

I think they got lost in their writing. It’s hard to follow. But I think essentially, they’re saying the black fox demon wants to bring about the prophecy. Hence I’m thinking there’s gonna be some tragedy some where. Maybe he’ll sacrifice the barrier for qintong. But the problem is they aren’t steering the plot well because honestly they probably don’t know where they’re going either. Wishy washy writing. Acting is great though
