372.Hong Sisters phone it in.Watched this for Kim Seon Ho.Very surprised that this is a Hong sisters project,…
They budgeted 2.5 billion usd for 2023-2026, so they gotta use it. We’ll see what happens when they review their spending

Okay I started episode 1 and I had honestly forgotten that Wang Duo was in this, but now I need someone to spoil…
I doubt he’s going to fight for the female lead. He may develop feelings, but she’s not part of his end goal. His sister is his end goal.

The beginning episodes are pretty convoluted. The later episodes are much better. The momentum is building now. I was worried when I saw the first few episodes, even until episode 11. It wasn’t going anywhere. Now it’s getting clearer. The way this is heading, the ending will probably be satisfying. Usually it starts out interesting to engage the audience but then fizzles. I was only watching for TSY and I’m glad I held out.

Title Fated Hearts
I didn’t know you could fit so many different stories into one drama. The plot goes off the rails and the characters just go rogue after a certain point.

I got a lot of hate, but I’m gonna say it again, her brother sacrificed himself for her!!! If that’s not love,…
Yeah, he didn’t, for any number of reasons. It’s just the way the story started, they made it seem like they were on the path to love. The ending was his ending. It was anti-climactic.

Yes, a person who just became of age would certainly take kindness, that they are desperately lacking, for love.…
It’s more philosophical because the legalities have already been defined.

Yes, I am also traumatized. I didn’t even mind that scene until the very end. He was crying over everyone but her. I’m still very heartbroken honestly 🤣

If when he kissed her, she screamed, slapped him or called the police, from a victim perspective perhaps I could…
Her character isn’t one of a strong woman. I can see her doing that. She doesn’t have clear boundaries and is leading him on. She is actually a mess. Poor Michelle Chen 😂😂😂

Wonderful logic. I guess as per you, it's totally normal for me to keep stalking/running to my ex's house (being…
While I agree with your sentiments, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Oh and finally hearing “jie jie” word doesn’t sound traumatic again after LITC and SAB🤣
I got a lot of hate, but I’m gonna say it again, her brother sacrificed himself for her!!! If that’s not love, I don’t know what is. She sacrificed herself for the one she loved. He didn’t shed a tear!

If you have a victim mentality, then of course you will see victims everywhere. She didn't scream or slap him…
It depends if you’re talking about the scene in the present where he stalks her after she’s dropped off by her Dr. friend. I wouldn’t call that romantic tension, so kissing her there is borderline assault. She is rejecting his advances and he plants an aggressive kiss on her. That’s not romantic lol! That’s harassment!

If someone unrelated to me had treated me this well, I would’ve fallen for her too.
Yes, a person who just became of age would certainly take kindness, that they are desperately lacking, for love. He is young, inexperienced, and lost. He’s lost his only parent (his grandfather) and she steps in to fill a void. If she were perceptive, she would see that. Meanwhile she’s going through divorce and stressed, so she’s vulnerable too. She is his savior swooping in, a recipe for disaster. Actually, would make for a great tragedy. That’s what I’m hoping to see. At least some spark of nuance!

Not only is it super rapey, but just something about the MLs face I cannot stand. I cannot see him as the protagonist…
Haha “villain face.” Many fans will take offense to that, but I agree! He has a natural darkness to his face. I was watching the variety show with them together and I could really tell he has a hardness/harshness to him.

Are you talking about the darkness of his face? He kinda gives off evil vibes lol. I was taken aback at first, but if you watch the flashback, his faces aren’t bad lol.

Always enjoy a well written age gap drama but no, I didn’t get that vibe here at all. Completely awkward &…
I think even if he is seducing her, the undertones are still there. Which is why I also agree it’s not vibing. The kiss fest isn’t helping either.

I don't have a problem with the age gap but I just have a problem with the fact that they have a past relationship…
It’s weird. He basically just came of age. That’s taking advantage of someone, regardless man or woman.

I don’t like how they portray him as someone strong and taking the lead. He just grew up. He doesn’t know about city life and yet he knows how to confess his feelings? I just think it’s awkward.

And the previews aren’t helping it. I like the acting, but I just don’t like the portrayals. It’s forceful. An older, smart woman being led… as much as I love to suspend reality, I am not on board with the concept.

I’ll watch it because I like Michelle Chen, but I just don’t agree with this role.

It’s not about what’s moral and what’s not moral. He was never “moral” to begin with. He was the demon…
It’s all debatable. You can answer that for yourself. You have your opinion; I have mine. It’s a nonissue.

So? He kills Qin Tong because he needs the tree seed. Is that moral?

So doing one good deed makes you moral? He had a change of heart. The story isn’t even about morals. It’s more about his awakening than his morals. Again with the looking at the finger pointing to the moon.
