Well I didn't cry in a single episode.... I just feel a little pain inside ....Its not that easy to make me cry...😝
haha, that's good. Simpler scenarios make me tear up more. Maybe so much was happened so it didn't affect me as deeply. I kinda have to admit I was also laughing in some parts like the way they shot Li Su Su riding the horse. It was so smooth. lol! And then it took ages for TTJ to get to the palace. I was like dude, how did the army you were fighting get there ages before you? Don't you have super speed? Also all that blood they were spitting. I was a bit grossed out for them and distracted by them ruining each others fancy outfits. I hope it at least tastes good. XD I was more terrified that the fox was going to get killed and then she got saved and died anyway. That was sad. Li Su Su looks too good to be dead so maybe that's why I don't feel sad. It looks like she'll wake up somehow.
I'm just surprised I didn't cry. Earlier episodes made me tear up more when there was all this anguish and misunderstanding. Now the suspense is killing me. And I don't know if I should ask questions or be patient...
Everyone was talking about the tower scene. Has it been shown already? I've seen episode 28 but not sure if that was the tower where both females are standing.
1. The FL has hope of changing the future so that might be the reason why she doesn't have as much rage. Compare…
Yes, there was supposed to be a second part but they had to cancel it and instead made the 40 mins episodes into 53 mins long episodes from what I've read on MDL. So maybe the transitions are not smooth for that reason but you get the relevant information. I had only one issue with the show and that was related to the revenge sex in the dream arc. So compared to that all the other stuff looks pretty insignificant to me personally. In any case, this is a different kind of fantasy genre compared to other Asian or Western dramas so it can take some time getting used to but overall the story, the pacing, the production, the CGI are impressive to me. Anyway, keep watching. The story might still grow on you.
I hope I'm not killed here for saying this but I'm 15 epsiodes in this and if you are in doubt about watching…
1. The FL has hope of changing the future so that might be the reason why she doesn't have as much rage. Compare that with her in the dream sequence where she is full of rage. She does hate the ML and wants to kill him but can't. 2. For the sister, you'll understand more about her and her relationship with her husband if you watch further but what they have shown until where you've watched is that she is the daughter of a concubine so she feels jealous and inferior. 3. The prince will also have a bigger role beyond ep 15 and he'll be seen making decisions. 4. The king is arrogant and definitely was a psychopath because he kept Tantai Jin as a slave when he is the reason for peace between two nations. 5. Even before he took this decision, he had told the prince that he wants him to take the throne someday for peace so we had an idea what his ideals were. 6. Yes, this was annoying but sadly a common problem. 7. LOL. I noticed the hair colour difference too. I'm guessing it's mix of real hair + extensions but if the whole thing is a wig then no idea. 8. You have to bear in mind the social hierarchy as well. So even if they can't subdue her physically, she can't fight them at the risk of death.
Wow! Ye Bing Chang sure is shameless. While taking back the stolen love threads, she has the audacity to say, "now you're taking these away from me too?".
She already had a man who loved her and she still discarded him. Glad Tantai Jin showed him her true face.
At least she was truthful when she said the only person she loves is herself.
I don't know about the novel or how much the show is following it but my only "clue" that this series will have a good ending is the theme song lyrics - "kisses of love healed me" means he changes for the good :P "My existence will never quell to the prickles of pain" might also suggest the prick of those nails? So it won't end there for him.
Cuz removing the evil bone is hard on its own. Remember the Ming Ye arc, the Devil God took it out himself, cuz…
haha. You have a point there. They made his character suffer so much already though. I don't want him to suffer more. But I have hope for a good ending.

Yeah she seems to have a soft spot for him (as of ep 20) but it still feels awful when I know what is coming. I guess I didn't pay attention where they tried to take out the ancient devil god's evil bone. Yes, lucky for them he took it out himself. But what if she could convince TTJ to take his out as well? If she destroys it outside his body, could he live?
It's become sadder after ep 24, real angst will start from episode 25. I can't stay at slow when I'm into drama,…
Yes it's generally harder to match a novel with a show. I haven't read the novel either but I'm enjoying TTEOTM. The world building itself is on another level.
I am only at the end of the 19th episode and I am already starting to feel a bit devastated. Tantai Jin is turning out to be a benevolent emperor. He's prevented people needlessly dying in the war. He is taking care of the refugees. He is learning because he wants to be better at ruling.
He is is genuinely falling for Li SuSu and is genuinely happy for a change. Meanwhile, she is feeling happy every time she is closer to destroying his evil bone and killing him.
Yes, he turns into the devil God in future but that's not him YET. Why is there no way of destroying the evil bone without betraying and killing him? And I wonder if she feels anything for him at all or it's just an act. If it's an act, it feels a bit sinister. :(

Hope this helps.

Also me: Oh no, this is too juicy. WTH happens next?!
Now I have only 2 episodes left till I'm caught up... :|

okay, you can laugh at my optimism now. XD

Just voicing my current thoughts.
