Two episodes in and I'll be honest, I'm not convinced that this will be a good drama. I don't like the male and female lead characters as of now. I also don't like the sexualising of women in any show. It's a big turn off. This show was recommended so I am hoping it gets better.
I liked the ep 9 and 10 case. Episode 10 was the best so far. More serious. A lot more happening and less wasting time. Time flew while watching this episode.
What an exciting start! Enjoyed it thoroughly! Love that the female lead is a strong character. Loved her fight scenes. Hope that's not the last of them like in Alchemy of Souls. And yes, I can see the similarity with The Forbidden Marriage but it's just the first episode so I'm not going to judge. And even if they happen to be similar. I welcome more of a good thing. 😊
It's unfortunate that this show doesn't have any subs beyond the first few episodes but because it's a game format, you can pick up what is happening and don't need them as much. It does help if you know at least some amount of Korean to fill in the gap. And because a lot of the conversation between the players has Korean subtitles or written instructions appear every so often, you can pick a part where you have no idea what is happening and type it into google translate. I don't do it for every dialogue. Just bits here and there. Only so that I'm not completely lost. The show is still enjoyable without subs so far and I'm only on the 6 episode. It has interesting twists and explores human nature in this kind of format. I do hope it gets properly subbed in the future as it is worth checking out. It's also interesting how a lot of the male contestants think it's useless to have females on their teams whereas the women have actually been performing really well. It has made me root for the women. :P
