I kinda figured out the plot by the 2nd or 3rd episode itself. I am glad it turned out that way. I also understand…
The reason they never showed the real CEO wake up is because after they established that the person they were communicating with was the AI, the real CEO would not feel as fondly towards the male and female lead because he was in a coma the entire time. So they hinted at him waking up without having to disappoint the viewers with the lack of emotional connection once he finally wakes up. Even if he finds out everything they did for him in his absence, he would still only be grateful yet standoffish, His only emotional attachment would be his daughter. So to wrap everything up quickly, this was the most pleasant way of ending this show.

I haven't seen any that I've listed as yet so I'm not sure. Dear.M apparently is good. Somehow I can't recall…
There are kiss scenes in Adult Trainee, Boys Over Flowers, F4 Thailand, Lesson In Love, Meteor Garden, Someday Or One Day, 2521 and The Golden Spoon. There might be others but I kinda forgot. Maybe in cdramas they don't really show teens kissing because of censorship.

There is a Korean web drama called Growing Season which is slightly similar. Young college adults. It's not completely set in the campus. Mostly off campus scenes. It explores friendships and relationships. There is a cdrama called When You Be Me which is about high school students and studying and the main plot line is about a male and female student swap bodies. Some reason I've seen more school and workplace dramas than university. lol. People also added some recommendations of dramas related to Binary Love: https://kisskh.at/66361-san-hao-cha-sheng/recs
Please someone suggest highly romance university drama

I hope they don't follow the exact storyline of the Chinese version or at least don't make it as long as it started to drag. Hoping this version can improve upon the errors and make it better.
