If you compare it to ep 29, so much took place in ep 29. Ep 28 was more relaxed.

Where was that heavenly guy who was after Hua Ru Yue 's life for slaying the dragon? He didn't care that the villain was slaying immortals left and right and trying to destroy the stele? Very curious.

What did the elder go in the field to give up his life for? What was the purpose? It wasn't clear.

I was wondering why HRY didn't go back in time to change multiple events. But it seems she would have saved her baby. The end didn't change but at least Bai Jiu Si was still alive.

Overall enjoyed the series except for small details. Great twists and turns. 😁

Not that way. But just slowed the scene down with long pauses and endless music. The next episode in comparision was so much faster.

It felt slow to me. Not much happened.

I watched it in 1.5x because it felt like they dragged the plot especially with the side character (demon FL).

I'll be honest. I didn't care when Bai Jiu Si got stabbed (technically he stabbed himself) coz I was like many episodes are left and he will just reincarnate or something. The most important question is how did he/they survive? Fake swords?

I was also sure Long Yua was the killer. This show man. Made me want him dead.

Hah! At least I guessed one thing right. That SML is suspicious. But why did Hua Ru Yue realise it so late? She should have guessed when he entered her illusion as well as when the stele was destroyed. But now I wonder why he destroyed it? Didn't he want Bai Jiu Si dead?

I'm also confused about the timeline and how much time has passed. When did SML ascend? How many years has it been?

Second male lead seems suspicious. Not sure if I'm reading too much into it. But he did enter the illusion somehow and he even managed to destroy the stele. I can't tell if he's her love interest, her enemy or her son reincarnated at this time.

I'm used to 2 episodes a day and now I have to get used to only 1 a day? 😔
