It's 16 episodes apparently. I've seen the original and I believe it might make for a better story if they've cut it down. I was quite frustrated by the end of the cdrama as it seemed to take away from the main couple. A lot of focus on the siblings and other characters. Not what I was watching the series for. The couple was also separated for an absurdly long time. I like that this version is moving at a faster pace.
In 1000s of years, majority men have still not changed their regressive views about women. That was one of the most difficult aspects of this show. To see women suffering even when they survived.
Just finished episode 1 and this is already so good! Depressing but good. But I might put it on hold if the rest of the show won't air until Jan 5th. I hate that they split up dramas nowadays.
