It's SZZ that's ugh for me, he's such an embarrassment! Whether it's he being duped by an old acquaintance, his briefing to HT, the gibberish he spoke while interviewing HWW (which is going to cause issues), his constant chasing and pestering of LiLi when she's hinted and rejected him in so many different ways, his gifts to her, and then.... his makeover 🤦‍♀️

I get second-hand embarrassment just watching his scenes 😵‍💫

I'm glad they didn't bother adding the whole accompanying scene in the drama, it wouldn't have made sense here.

Another thing that doesn't make sense here is her running away from HT, the development of their relationship in the drama is more like normal couples, up until ep 20, it's almost there, next you expect a confession and them ending up together.

Him keeping that as a stake on a bet also doesn't add up in the drama version, like hello, the guy waited 10-11 years, and now he sees she's into him, all he need to do was to propose a relationship.

Wonder how they'll play it out in the drama in a way that it fits well in the story.

Ever since I had read this part in the novel, I'd been eager to hear XK speak German as HT. I know a tiny bit of German and understand that he didn't pronounce the words accurately. Nevertheless, it sounded so cool when he spoke and while German sounds harsh to non-speakers, he even made the German words he spoke sound cute!

He's been keeping it to himself for 10-11 years, it's more like let the man be! 😂
