She's thinking about it because of those two red packets. He's thinking about it because he's straight, does high adrenaline sports and she looks like that... but all I'm thinking about is the 13+ rating and that it seems she's a high school senior. Pfft. Can't fool me.
Dew trying to kiss Gun with the best of intentions(I mean in the obvious sense of acting), and him acting reluctant…
Is this not a character direction? Koh is the male lead, isn't he? Therefore, things should only feel RIGHT with him. With the second male lead, though seemingly perfect, there should be some disconnect.
There has been a SIGNIFICANT increase in smoking scenes in Asian dramas in general over the last year, but especially…
Sidenote: I can't believe I'm on this side 😂 If IRL people could see me now.
1. If we go back to SOTUS, Kongpob smoked in the series. I think it's simply the source materials and intended audiences. Characters who smoked in the novels, would somehow have a lollipop addiction in the series and older viewers would recognise that the character was probably a smoker. Now, as they're not as insanely focused on primarily targeting young teen girls, these character traits don't have to be as censored. 2. It might be social commentary. I'm not sure about your countries, but in both countries I live in, there seems to be a resurgence of smoking.
Dramas reflect the society it represents. People like the character smoke, so the character smokes. Most times…
Are you.... 10? This show isn't aimed at children. It's aimed at those who should be old enough to have basic critical thinking skills. Shows have ratings, those aimed at children won't have risky behaviours or such. Smoking is outside in the real world, it is in novels and so it is here on screen. At the start of almost every programme, they basically tell you that this is a work of fiction and that the characters' words and actions are not meant to promote any behaviours. Listen to/ read the warnings next time.
i dropped it at ep 6 or 7 what's the plot twist if anyone can spoil it for me
There isn't one. It's exactly as it was set up in the first week. Both feel guilty, they love each other and know it's mutual, there's a ghost between them.
I binged 1-11. What's with all the lies in the comments? This is so good! Every storyline and everyone's intentions and personalities are setup in the first two episodes. SML is adorable and I kinda need him (same character) as a lead. Same with the SFL. Neither interfere with the main leads and good people— just not the right ones. Second couple, too. My dude, I get you... but you have a goddess— don't fumble!
liking it so far but I'm noticing a lot BL have smoking scenes back in day before we knew the risk of cancer it…
Dramas reflect the society it represents. People like the character smoke, so the character smokes. Most times when there are smoked characters, it's a pretty revealing part of their characterisation and background. You ask, why did they start smoking? When do they smoke? How do characters around them react to the smoking?
Nooooooo 😭 Okay, then. Ummm.... don't panic.... ummmI've got it. we just need a new character to show up..... or.... Has there been anyone in the background for all the seasons? We can't support the minor
