Oh how I love when shows about young people with crushes have them play fighting. They keep finding excuses to touch and enjoy those touches... It's so young.
π€ I believe it's because he tried when he thought Wayu was single. Backed off when he knew he wasn't. Tried…
Of course it wasn't platonic. However, he'd already told Wayu his feelings weren't platonic. So, Wayu was able to properly defend himself instead of going along and thinking it was platonic or wondering if he was oveerthinking. Flirting isn't pursuit. He reminded Wayu of his interest; possibly, testing his resolve. Note on tone: I'm a novel reader who is fully behind the main couple and was expecting more of them being obsessed with each other and less of the drama-y and police show-y scenes. Just responding to the comment about how people might not see he's horrible.... He seems good and not just "nice"... the show probably intended to show us who Wayu would've ended up with if he'd stayed on track and how well-suited they were for each other; like, Mind seems to love just as openly and devotedly (is that a word?) as Wayu.
Is it weird that I think it's weird they've made a whole variety show about her turning 20?Like I know, I know...2023... They're no longer using the traditional aging system, so the age of majority is now 19 and not 20, but.... still....
Mind one of the worst cases of βcant take no for an answerβ like I did not expect to hate him so much, genuinely…
π€ I believe it's because he tried when he thought Wayu was single. Backed off when he knew he wasn't. Tried again when he knew Wayu was single. Backed off again when rejected.
In many countries and cultures, a dowry is a show of respect for the bride. It shows financial stability and am pretty sure that it's usually given to the bride herself or sometimes to both as a couple after they get married. In some countries, that bit of financial independence and security can save some women. In this century, a show of financial stability and that both set of parents approve of the marriage is pretty good, no?
No he didn't know mu was into him. That's the reason he goes into that depression phase when moo scolds him for…
Huh? Excuse me? I am increasingly confused by your every response. My responses are written. The tone you read is from your mind, not mine. Perhaps this is cause for introspection...? Note how each response started with a show of confusion. Also, I am confident there was nothing wrong with my language nor choice of words- as this is the first time my response is not entirely discussing the show and my opinion pertaining to it.

Huh? Sorry, my question was rhetorical. He did know Moo was into him at one point. Moo was chasing first, stopped and Fu has been chasing since. We can I feel from the dialogue and the scene where we saw all the gifts Moo was going to give to him. His "depression" didn't last any time at all and he was back to full pursuit after a tiny encouragement. Did he know Moo was still into him? No. However, he knew Moo had liked him back in the day, so he was confident he could get Moo to like him again eventually. It's why he ignored all the rejections. He wasn't aware he'd done something to negatively impact his image in Moo's eyes.
Wait. He wasn't delusional? He'd KNOWN the whole time Moo was into him? Ah.... maybe I shouldn't have skipped so much... I'd just thought he was too much. I'm sorry, _Fu. Shouldn't have doubted you. You were just courting. My bad.
Guessing that line about not having children wasn&t random, eh?
TanRak ran away from rehearsal and the skies opened up. God sent a thunderstorm.
(Ignore the fact that it must've been forecast, since he seemed prepared)

Still, we have to recognise and respect cultural differences and acknowledge our own ethnocentrism and cultural biases π

unlikely, though

I assumed it was implied, but from "however" on is my opinion.
