We needed Viki in episode 2. Viki would've explained that those texts were all his!
How ? Viki subs usually add cultural contexts, relevant lyrics from OSTs if they're heavily hinting at the plot and they translate the texts and such from scenes like one of the ones in episode 2. We should've been aware of something the MC doesn't realise... but because it's not translated...
Like Everyone Hates the Substitute Until He's Reborn, LOL? Or The Substitute Awakens? And then there are those…
The age thing was mentioned in the drama. ML was either a student or fresh graduate. The antisocial tendencies got through, yeah. I think so, too. Also, this is why I'm wondering if it's something about me because what you're saying sounds to me like it's all Joe romanticising, hoping and being delusional . I went back to check and yeah...I'm still on this side. Wonderful, isn't it? Same material but different takeaways.

... but... this is on the MC. These decisions leading to all of that is on the MC. It's been awhile but the ML didn't sell him fake love, did he? Joe fell for an obvious red flag. Ming was into someone else, but didn't pursue that person because...if i remember, he was taken? Or something. So, he got with someone single. Was he possessive and obsessive? Yes. That first attempt at a hookup should've been the end... but then JOE went and adjusted. The issue is the main character's insecurity and history with the lead actor guy. Like, "ah, even the guy I'm inlove with takes me as your stand-in".... But... like, I swear this has to be some flaw in my thinking style... but... is this not on the MC to leave and find someone else? If the ML was fully lying and pretending to be enamoured, I'd think differently... but, he wasn't....that I remember.
Let Me Wrap My Head Around This MessShen Mo used to date Zhou Yang in high school, and they were lovers.Zhou Yang…
Yup. Red flag, sister con... Male lead is so obsessed with Shen Mo that he's doing anything to keep him around... whilst trying to keep his sister in the dark.
It is a BL... visit the site, https://nakwonmansion.com/ Why do people always think that when it's tagged as LGBTQ,…
🤔 Idk about others, but for me, BL is a specific genre with a specific audience. BL is like junk food- it's delicious, familiar, quick and makes you feel happy...but not much substance. You know what you're getting when you order. LGBTQ is like a properly nutritious meal. The similes were probably unnecessary, but I wish you understand. Most BLs you see are based on works written by women (queer or otherwise), but LGBTQ (with a focus on the G) tend to be from queer men. Whilst nowadays, more BLs are having more queer people on the creative team/ behind the scenes; checking the crew to see who was out would be a good way to tell whether it was gonna be LGBTQ+ or just a BL. Note on tone: from a queer person who prefers BLs 😆 (I just want the fantasy, not reality)
Okay... I finished the novel. I am fully hoping the screenwriters go their own way and don't rely too heavily on the novel. I like how this is going so far... let's keep it this way. My dude, no more undercover missions!
Has anyone found a source - official or otherwise - for Jack and Ten’s novel? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
There's a Jack and Ten novel? I'd bought THIS novel on MEB and Cher's (GMMTV already did that one with ForceBook), but didn't see anything about Jack and Ten... Jack was seemingly heterosexual, even... pretty sure he ended up with.... umm... maybe I need a reread or maybe it's a recent release?
so why would lizard be guarding the door all alone when everyone else is paired up ? no way haegang trusts him…
Right? Like, we know it's more likely a fake-out and he was caught, but why was he alone? The moment he said he'd take over I was shocked. Not even with the kid?

There's also How Dare you?! (if you want something more romantic)
We don't want it.
Screenwriters! Take creative license!
