Nah, the husband is evil like Baek A Jin. They are equals in a way and I never felt sorry for her. I wanted her to taste her own medicine for a change, but somehow that wasn't in the cards.

Haha I just stayed away from the MDL comments section, there were some nice ones and interesting explanations but overall its as if people are rating feelings over how good the plot, complete storyline or acting is.
Coffee owner needed more screen time, they made him so plain and almost useless even though he was so useful to her. Its one of those roles where support character just dissapears after doing something for the plot. I was waiting for his anger but nope, he is just a good human and he feels remorse cause he killed someone with his hands. He is taking all the blame for his actions no matter how manipulated he was.

Meh, shouldn't watched it...the beginning was binge worthy and then it just collapses. Acting is top notch but on occasion I got so annoyed by so much staring. Is it just me or did someone else had issue with Baek A Jin getting all worked up to the point that she almost expressed some emotions but in most childish way - by screaming. Disliked that so much!! At one point I thought...will they make a sequel? Don't know would I be able to endure another 12 ep of *so many plot holes*.

But I didnt care to check from what drama is song ç¬ç± (Sole Love), I was just listening without even looking and then when I watched Shadow Love - it was *wait a minute* ; *processing* :D That battle scene in ep2 is great on its own but with this song it hits differently ^^

I mean, I like good debate/arguments to understand why is something good/bad or to see someone else's perspective. Nah those 'preachermens' on the internetz are just sad individuals with lack of social skills imo.

Will get back to it in days to come, and yeah I am so glad that its 35min, actually 30 min per show(some episodes that were 40 minutes were too much for me lol). That is true, sometimes when you read multiple good and bad reviews you can more easily decide is the show for you....if you first blindly don't jump on hype train and get all sorts of disappointmets. That is very much true, I was struggling in order to finish some shows and it was just a disappointment. Learning when to drop shows is also a smart thing to do, after all there are so many shows to watch. Sure, its mixure of many things but mostly its romantic drama set in country that is conflicted with war. I simply cant phrase this better, and I dont have problem with that as such- I just have a problem cause it was supposed to be epic wuxia and it turned out to be puppy eyes love story. At least some people are happy, there are million dramas to choose, I just wanted to cut through comments that seemed biased. Doesn't matter who will agree with me- just to have some balace :D
'the Wolves were horrendous...' - almost bad as The Untamed one *shots fired* :D So you see after that wolf episode and looking at comments here I was baffled - did I just watch the same show? Are people blind, or am I blind? It's maybe cause some watchers read the novel and are fans for years so they invested a lot and are forcing themselves to like it no matter what.
I have 0 expectations now, won't drop it...there are some nice parts of this drama but overall I am so disappointed.

Oh noo, you are so harsh but honest- I meant edited as in costumes are nice, fighting scenes with tiny female general are nicely filmed; the angles and all. But yeah you can't see that in just 4 episodes, those were just - wtf is that. Uhm but few good scenes in this show so far are overall lacking cause if you had hard time focusing on the story from the beginning, yes it doesnt move much from there. It progresses into romatic comedy that is cut with some battle scenes that are not convincing but nicely edited + costumes are great, from dresses to armours. Need to be kind and polite with my describing cause I would be lying if I didnt saw potential, I hate dropping shows.
When it just aired - I commented exactly what you said about 1st ep, I almost dropped it cause it was everything that I am trying to avoid.
