Alright you can stop spamming what you think, we got it already.
What makes you think those likes are fake? I guess if you're going to a point where you're gonna accuse me, I think you're out of line here and disrespectful. Those likes are not mine. I don't care if my comments get likes. Maybe you care so much that you are doing it yourself.
Alright you can stop spamming what you think, we got it already.
And btw, am I not allowed to state my opinion because almost all of you like this show so much? I get that many love it for whatever wise life lessons this show many people think has, but would you still think the same and endure the show if the actor were some ugly fat, bald, no-front-teeth guy? No offense but I think many wouldn't. They would consider the actor disgusting creature, his actions abominable and this show a travesty!

Okay, I am not spamming or whatever. Some people (others, not you, you seem to be respectful) just keep commenting and probably upset and can't accept that there are other views about the show. They seem to think I am just nitpicking. But really I decided to watch this show because I wanted a good cry, but halfway through, I felt it was ridiculous. If it wasn't for the acting, I would have stopped watching much early.
Kalo kamu mau yang dapetin si cewe pakai cara good boy cari drama lain aja gampang 😂. Gak ada yang maksa kamu…
I decided to watch this drama not because I wanted to nitpick. I even was amazed by the acting. I was merely stating my opinion. Am I not allowed just because people seem to like only good words about the show? I was not forcing my views on anyone. I watched it as far as I could, but no one is gonna tell me what to watch because it's there to stream for everybody and not only a select few who can't accept the truth that it was a goddamn kidnapping shit being made f**ing romantic bullshit!! Some people gotta respect other's views! You are free to state yours and I will not condemn your shitty veiws!
Btw, I watched it because I wanted a good cry because everyone was saying it was gonna make people cry. But halfway through, I felt so bored and the plot felt so loose and ridiculous. If it wasn't for the ML's acting, I would have dropped it much early.
yeah, kidnapping and aggression being so rationalized and many people find it cute and romantic now somehow...…
I totally agree. I would go on to say it's not for whatever important life lessons that viewers really watch and love a show like this. It's for the visuals. If it were an ugly actor doing all those things, they would easily judge him as a disgusting creature and this show a travesty.
Girl I get your point but look honey, learn to receive the kdrama vibe, thinking about whether its legal or illegal…
Yeah, it's just a show I know. That's why I am also puzzled why people say it's realistic and as such very good. But that's a different topic... Going back to the kidnapping and violence in dramas. Sure, it's just fiction. But why do we relate or not relate to a fictional work? I guess it somehow affects us more than we think. Besides, we spend considerable time watching it.
Again, I was merely stating the negative points of the show. Not that it will have any effect on the viewership or anything, nor I am imposing any views of mine on anyone. Still, I think the kidnapping trope and violence driving a drama of self-discovery and healing is disgusting. You have your opinion though that it doesn't affect the essence of a drama; for me, it does because it's the very way it tries to achieve whatever essence it has. Maybe I am thinking it too deeply or not, but nahh, it still feels uncomfortable to watch.

I love good kdramas but this kidnapping thing is so overly used to a point of absurdity. Kidnapping and violence once again driving a drama throughout, and hot guy pushing himself into the helpless love of his life..... Totally not new at all... I would say again that this was some lazy trope.
Hellbound and Judge from Hell are totally different and these do not romanticize the violence... I don't get your comparison.
She was brutally kidnapped by her abusive ex boyfriend lets be serious for 2 minutes
I wouldn't say brutally... but yeah, it was kidnapping. I don't get why fans of the show think it's not. Again, the acting was really great. I watched it as far as episode 5 because I really liked the acting. But it's not as good of a drama especially that violence is being rationalized. I guess if it were a less attractive actor -- say fat, bald and no front teeth -- viewers would think it was indeed awful kidnapping.
Kidnapping trope is one of the most overly used plot devices that people still seem to patronize. Apparently, it is being rationalized and made romantic, cute and beautiful. Given how many viewers don't think it is problematic just shows how mere entertainment can affect our views of right vs wrong.
I have nothing against the actors. They did wonderful. But for me, this would have been a better drama if a different trope other than kidnapping her was used. It was a lazy device. Writers gotta abandon that and think of something unique and better because this may just be mere entertainment but it sure does affect people's mindset.
Isn't kidnapping taking away someone against his/her will? Last time I checked it was still illegal. I wonder…
Of course, the writers had to rationalize and make it somehow romantic and all. Sure that was effective given how many people seem to think now it was not kidnapping. Couldn't the writers think of some other way to put their messaging through? Otherwise, viewers would think it's okay to just force themselves into other people's lives because they simply wanted to live more meaningfully. I just watched up to episode 5. I definitely thought the acting was great, but the plot was ridiculous I had to stop.
Woo Do Hwan’s smile is EVERYTHING. I love that his character smiled so often. I cried multiple times watching…
Isn't kidnapping taking away someone against his/her will? Last time I checked it was still illegal. I wonder if kidnapping victims would agree with you that he simply carried her away from her wedding.

How is the kidnapping in this drama any different? You mean it is okay for as long as you love the one you're kidnapping? I think some kidnappers in real life would really agree to that.
Loved the acting but the kidnapping thing was just uncomfortable to watch. Writers need to find a more sensible way to push through with their messaging!!! I hope no kidnapping victims in real life got flustered by this drama and how people seem to be loving it!
I've watched far less absurd things in my life. I have no complaints about the actors—they’re all delightful,…
Yeah, writing is ridiculous. I thought I was the only one who couldn't connect much. But yeah, the acting is great! I watched it as far as I could cause I really liked the acting, until the story felt so loose and uncomfortable to watch. And no way is this realistic like people are saying.
Had to pause after ep 5. People saying this show is realistic. Mmm... I don't think so. Anyway, I think the ML's acting is really great. Some scenes are also fun and interesting, but some are boring and even cringy. Might continue later just to see more of ML's acting. The writing is a bit ridiculous.
I really enjoyed it... but I guess the drama was too difficult for the losers... lol
I enjoyed it as well, especially the last episode which gave me goosebumps. This show is unsettling. It does not aim to please the viewers and give bullshitty, idealized, romanticized resolutions. I guess this show is not for people who just want to relax (not necessarily losers), but for those who want to be actually bothered by it, to ponder about many things particularly about their beliefs.
also the daughter( actress) , her face It seems filled with botox , do not know . i always use 2x speed to run…
Me too. SNE's acting was good, just suits her character. This Masato Sakai username belongs to one of Ji Jin Hee's avid obsessed creepy fan, with a lot of user accounts here. If you scroll down, it's Yeon Sung, and many MDL users have hated her for her slandering comments towards the idols in this show. She must have at least 10 accounts, perhaps more. Haha. It began when the promotional posters had only SNE and CMH in them, not JJH. She got really salty. And she then attacked anyone who credited this show to the idols. She always does this to actors/actresses who she thinks steal the spotlight from Ji Jin Hee. She gets salty when people appreciates other actors/actresses in the show but missed to mention her actor. She's the worst fan ever. She even goes on messing up wikipedia entries, removing names of other actors, and adding sweet nonsense words about her actor. Creepiest fan ever. Not to mention, she's liking her comments here and even replying to her own comments. Creepy so much.
