that was a really bittersweet ending, a good one nonetheless every episode was written soo well it just keeps you wanting more I just binged the whole show in a day (totally worth it)
decent but the ending was kind of underwhelming, idk how the hell Yan He died but they totally could've kept him alive....also there was a lot of unnecessary drama in the last 2 eps...they could've given us 1 full ep of peace with after story or something
As a fellow rom com freak, I can recommend quite a few so here we goWhen I fly towards you You are my glory(this)Love…
then try
Legend of zang hai (the chemistry is fire) The prisoner of beauty (one of the best) Legend of the female general (This one end tomorrow) Blossom Blossom in Adversity The double (really good too)
Prior to the activities of the additional chapters, Ming Sheng and Qiao Qingyu have already been reunited. Even though this part is somewhat different from the drama adaptation, the novel indicates that Qingyu sent Ming Sheng a message telling him to rerurn her pearl hairpin. Surprisingly, he shows up at her dorm, having already returned to China permanently. For Qingyu's birthday celebration, they decide to go back together to his grandfather's home in Huan Zhou. In Extra Chapter 1, Ming Sheng and Qiao Qingyu return to Huan Zhou. Ming Sheng thinks about the first time he laid eyes on Qingyu on his 15th birthday in 2008 working silently in the apartment in front of his grandfather's. That moment was the silent start to his love. While Qingyu answers a call, Ming Sheng discovers an outdated letter that she had written to him remaining unmailed and intensely sincere. The letter expresses her concealed yearning and vulnerability, concluding in a plain, unadulterated declaration: "I love you." Overwhelmed, Ming Sheng then and there gets down on his knees before her, ring in hand, and ask her to remain at his side forever. Qingyu, tearful and shocked, agrees. In Extra Chapter 2, the scene then turns to Teacher Cao, Qingyu's sister's former teacher. He visits a free counseling bookstore in Huan Zhou. When he meets the owners of the bookstore, Qiao Qingyu and Ming Sheng, he recognizes the relationship they have with Baiyu. Emotionally overcome by guilt and years of regret, he comes to Qingyu to reveal the truth about Baiyu's history, including her emotional distress and his own inability as a teacher to assist her. Qingyu hears him in silence, and the exchange is a time of silent reconciliation and healing. Qingyu and Ming Shen's children also appear in this chapter so it's really far in the future
There I may not have done the chapters justice with my summary so read them yourself if you get the chance.
Not every drama needs a kiss scene. if someone doesn't kiss, that won't make them pathetic. This drama is about…
First, reducing an actor’s worth to just MDL ratings is incredibly shallow—those are user opinions, not objective facts. You claim genre doesn’t matter, yet dismiss someone’s acting based on genre-based performance, which makes no sense.
Li Haocun has only done three dramas, and judging her entire career based on that is just unreasonable. Whether she’s good or not is for casting directors and audiences to decide, not for internet trolls throwing baseless accusations like 'sleeping with directors.' That crosses a serious line and says more about your character than hers.
And just to clarify—saying Bai Lu doesn’t have a 9+ rated drama doesn’t mean she’s not talented. So maybe stop using flawed logic to tear down actresses just because you don't like them. Dislike is fine, slander isn’t.
