During my youth, I was preoccupied with horror films. My niche passion for foreign ones was sparked by my reluctant viewing of "Ju-On: The Grudge" (2002) or "The Eye" (2002) at my mother's recommendation, having enjoyed their American remakes. Over time, I developed a particular fondness for Japanese entertainment and culture, fuelled by my long-overdue dive into anime, which broadened my interests beyond predominantly horror.

Little did I know, my exposure to Japanese entertainment began with popular cartoons like Pokémon, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! on kids' channels, and the occasional Studio Ghibli film on Channel 4. While Japan is my favourite, I appreciate other East Asian entertainment.

Despite initial hesitation, creating a kisskh account has been invaluable for new discoveries and cataloguing what I've watched. However, it's far behind MyAnimeList.
