I think this is a great portrayal of that first ……. I like you, not sure what love is. It’s very basic and real. I believe using the nail art, graffiti is a great vignette of their age. I found it refreshing and creative. Enjoyed it. Saw it without expectations.Pleasantly surprised.
A good drama! Although towards the end I was a little disappointed in the outcome and the way it was executed. The father should’ve been shamed and executed publicly. Don’t think that the concubine and the daughter deserved a break. They were horrid. Neither Mr. Fu deserved the classic and overused poison death. The love between them was not convincing, now I noticed he stood at the left indicating he was among the ones that passed? I’m lowering my rating. Sorry. It should have been a detective story. 7.5
I’m finding this borderline boring, the comedy is a underwhelming. Making it drag. I like the lead couple. They are veterans in their craft. But I’m struggling with the constant cliches and horrible house slippers!😂
This went the way of a classic period C-drama. I must say I liked it! Beautiful costumes and great acting from our leads. Don’t expect anything innovative, but a good well paced story. 8.5 for me. Would not watch it again, but glad I watched it once.🫶
She doesn’t deserve him. I’ve been trying to like her character and root for her but I truly feel they don’t match as a character couple. My 2 cents. The constant cat and mouse is getting a little boring. Hoping they diversify a little for the next episodes. I think I’ll wait for more episodes to binge. Hyong Sik is some serious eye candy, good actor!
The second couple development was rushed and the visuals corny. His narrative even though a little repetitive was endearing. The story was unbalanced and the repetition of certain scenes annoying. But it kept me watching until the end.
