Well, 2 very revealing episodes. I feel it went a little dark. Wichai’s mother went from an annoying screaming mother, to a very emotionally disturbed and abusive one. He has simply been used as her pawn since the day he was born.
I really don’t expect much profundity in this drama. Admittedly Ellis demeanor is constantly abrasive and tiring. I think Kim would had been a better match for Ellis. Now we have exes coming out of the woodwork. I feel it’s messy and not going nowhere. I hope it picks up. It’s becoming boring and predictable to me.🥱🥺

I agree. Cramming too much into the script. Gargantuan endeavor. I love how the novel author ( VR) flipped the whole thing by having Matt be the one alive and Khen the ghost.

Thank you! This makes sense and it’s a Violate Rain style of novel. I think the script tried to encompass too much and the main story line has become blurred. I wish I could find the novel translated somewhere. I honestly was looking forward to it after the great work with IFYLITA. Comes to show, how challenging it is to catch the same vibes as the novel. Unfortunately this production company missed the mark.

Ep. 33 How Jan Pei’s Mother can hold such a grudge after so many years. Screeching like a 15year old at the Emperor , didn’t seem real or hold substance for me. ( weak story foundation)
