Just finished this lakorn and I must say it was excellent. The end episode was too syrupy and neatly tied. I felt the Mother from hell should’ve had some retribution for all the outrageous behavior, including her servant. But Yaya and Thor were marvelous in their roles. I also loved Peter in the role of Prasit. The styling and vibe were impeccable. I truly recommend this gem. May I see them in great roles in the future. Specially Thor, I was pleasantly impressed with his portrayal.👏 👏👏👏
Here we are suffering while the crew and actors are laughing all the way to the bank!😭😭😭😂😂😂 Well deserved! With the exception of the script writer who decided to have my boy poisoned!🤮 😭😭😭😂😂😂😂
I’m done with these endings. Such a beautiful production! I’ve just seen 3 stories back to back with one or 2 leads not making it. I’m exhausted! I’ll be taking a break from c dramas for awhile.
I’m on episode 14 and stopped to read the comments. For me it’s an easy watch, it’s a little draggy sometimes. His trauma seems exaggerated but granted, we don’t have all the details yet. I don’t care for the over the top greedy look she gets every time he pays attention to her. I wish they would tone it down. Her dress code is not very sophisticated and her comedy jokes are lame! But you can tell they really put everything into their acting. I also like the second couple. Let’s hope there’s enough story telling to keep us entertained.
Wow, I just could not watch, but could not stay away. I actually lived in NYC for 13 years. I do feel that the film glamorized living in any big city. I felt that the characters tied themselves to the choices they made. I just hope they continued their road to happiness and prosperity. Undeniably their chemistry was fire 🔥 you can tell when they were having dinner with her husband. Yes it could have been him Hae Sung. But she chose differently and was willing to move on. Sad to see that last red thread broken at the end. The realization brought her to tears. For myself, I did the unthinkable, and got in the cab to the airport. Glad I did 28 years ago, with no regrets!
I’ve tried starting Love game in Eastern fantasy but it doesn’t hold my interest. On the other hand I look forward to watching The story of pearl girl every night. I find the story interesting and more mature.
I’ve tried to get into the story 3 times but it’s not my cup of tea. Too loud, cliches with e-mojis. feels too forced to me. Male lead is handsome but he can’t carry everything himself. There are good romcoms that don’t need clownish characters.
I was enthused by this being Violet Rains novel, writer of, I feel you linger in the air. This a clear example of how to mess up a good story with a convoluted script, immature and stiff acting. My intention is not to trash this. There’s a lot of work going into these projects, which's appreciated. But before execution they should make sure you are going for the best. This felt half cooked with the sole intention of making money. These boys (leads) simply didn’t want to kiss…or touch. They could not become their characters. Therefore the story didn’t flow.
