I am a gay guy and personally love the series and the way they are showing both relationships developing, and the two are so tightly intertwined that you can't properly tell the story of the one without diving into the other first.

I think the problem is we've seen Mark be very naturally goofy, cute, flirty, etc. and in this series it feels so forced and then all the unnecessary flashbacks taking you out of the moment. Flashback scenes should be used very surgically and sparingly, whereas with this series they're being used as a blunt object almost as much as the sound effects.

Poor Heesu is so used to people coming to him for advice or using him to get to Chan Yeong that he can't even imagine that anyone could possibly ever like him. I can't wait for the hit him like a ton of bricks realization / panic scene that inevitably to come. lol

Maybe Seung Won just needs to buy a whole case of carrot juice and start chucking them at Heesu until one finally hits him upside the head and he has his lightbulb moment. lol

I'm all for slow burns, but in 9 episodes the two relationships have inched forward maybe two inches, and that's being generous.

Ironman should have been the one trying to play matchmaker with them much earlier on in the series.

Ahhhh the ever so classic lesbian and gay guy pretend to fall in love and get married to get their parents money, but for some reason decide to keep the other gay guy out of the loop while the dance instructor has obviously been working on her choreography with moto chic in private for a long while now.

Whelp there's still three more episodes, so we'll see how long before they introduce the consolation prize for blondie. lol

I like Mark, I like Ohm, and I like Mark and Ohm together. The problem is the serious bits are good, and there's some decently cute moments, but the comedy and execution are terrible. Mark and Ohm are both naturally funny and usually deliver comedy well, but this series so far is definitely the exception to that. Episode 2 was marginally better than episode 1, but I think it's going to be a very short production run for the "I survived Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist" t-shirts. This is shaping up so far to be one of those series that if you make it all the way to the end it'll be instantly forgettable.

Because they get more money through the streaming service agreements than they do through youtube.

Yup, you got it right. TOPS has been in a lot of the Thai series over the years. Hell I don't think there was a single episode of "Ingredients" that didn't have TOPS in it in some fashion...of course they did sponsor the series. lol

Just to toss in my two cents on this.

There's an old saying "Bird of a feather flock together" so it makes sense sometimes for series, especially bl series to have a majority of gay characters. That said, I personally don't like it when it's so overly done that it's one of those everyone in the world is gay / bi scenarios.

This series has a gay, lesbian, and straight love interest storylines going for it and I personally like that it's focusing on all of that (not so much focusing on the lesbian love interest so far) because it's more true to life.

Maybe it's because I'm old, gay, male, and have always been more of the "who cares who loves who" normalize healthy relationships of all types over the out, loud, proud type that only cares for maximum lgbt representation.

For those that didn't see it yet, episode 2 is postponed until April 4th along with the new music video because of the Earthquake.

It's been 3-4 years since most people have seen him in "Don't Say No" and he's done a lot of dancing / fitness training not to mention they have soo much makeup and/or filter effects on in the series.

Yeah I'd like to see the four mains together again, and I think it would be good if it was Oat directing this time instead of being A.D. and if they had a good script.

I watched "Haunted Hearts" and was going to give "Sashes and Hearts" a chance just for the off chance of seeing Larence Brenches in a speedo, then watched the trailer for the series....don't think I lasted 30 seconds into the trailer and decided not worth it. lol

Shame too because they have some good actors.

Oh I would have dropped that shit quicker than an Oxin Film series if it wasn't for the four main guys in it. lol There was so much I hated about that series and shredded it in the comments over a scene in the finale episode, but it was Petch so I watched it because well...it's Petch. lol

That's exactly how I am as well, especially if they've given us even the slightest bit to go off of at least.

Hell even with "Sangmin Dinneaw" which was only 8 episodes they waited until the back half of the series to start going into Sangmin's backstory, but we were given enough hints to know things were good and that was enough to make it intriguing to find out but still be connected with the character until then.

One of the first things you're taught when it comes to creative writing is "Who, What, When, Why, and How" along with "The Three Acts". If you take the seven episode duration listed as truth then each act would be two and a half episodes in length, so we're almost done with the first act and still don't have the why. That could be overlooked for now if the "Why" was only missing for one character, but for four characters, that's just pushing it too much. It's not even a matter of building intrigue because at this point it's a "fuck it who cares about them and look at the pretty scenery" deal.

plot twist: Mark is really his dad and he's half vamp hence the golden blood!! LOL j/k

Joking aside, I REALLY hope they don't go with something that lazy as killer becomes protector, but considering the source I wouldn't be surprised.
