Title 55:15 Never Too Late Spoiler
Very interested in your theory
I'm thinking that Paul's backstory and Phiphu's story are going to parallel each other. I think it'll end that Phiphu is afraid to come out just like Paul was and in the process of Paul trying to help Phiphu find the courage, I think Phiphu is going to end up falling in love with him.

The part I don't have a theory on yet is if Paul is going to end up developing feelings for him as well. They aren't really related and Phiphu has never really spent any time or effort with him so there's definitely a possibility they could go that way.

I love the way they formatted the beginning episodes of this series. It's so different from the trickle drip of backstory we usually get and with two actors playing the same character it gives your brain time to process it so you're not getting confused.

For those saying that it's weird that their friends/family aren't recognizing them right away post age regression. Who would believe right away that such a thing is possible and happened and secondly, there's 40 years time that's gone by, it's to be expected that there would be some brain fog.

I have my own personal guess on where the Paul/Phiphu storyline is going to go and I think that could end up being one of the more interesting ones.

I wonder if the new agency of kinnporsche has fired Gameplay or he himself decided to leave. If he really ditched…
If you watched the original KinnPorsche trailer and have seen the material that Bo on Cloud has done so far since taking over it seems like they shifted the whole thing to be grittier and I think that has a lot to do with the casting changes.

Gameplay is a good actor when given the right characters and material, this just definitely isn't one of those.

Three episodes in so far for international fans with subtitles and so far this is like knowing a horrific car accident is about to happen and that you should look away but for some reason you can't.

Maybe the other two episodes magically get better, but so far it comes off as either no one actually wanted to be in this series or they took it for the check. The cast as a whole has zero chemistry and while there's no disgusted faces, there's certainly nothing of real chemistry.

The actual storyline isn't bad, but the execution completely destroys it.

Title My Love Mix-Up! Spoiler
wait i feel like i missed something while watching. do they hint at taniguchi knowing?
re-watch the part where the TA tries to tell the teacher, he instantly cuts him off before he finishes saying it. There was nothing directly said, but it was pretty obvious he knew what he was about to say.
On My Love Mix-Up! Nov 28, 2021
I really hope this ends up getting a second season or more even if it never progresses past what it's been so far. The interactions between Aoki and Ida and the situations they end up in are just too good.

This might help with watching this series from what little information could be found:

Cloudy Studio is another one of those little start up studios that started on YouTube in 2016 and started out with music videos and short films.

This appears to be their first series and with actors that either are completely new or have done limited acting in their other short works.

-------

Personally I always give a series at least 3 episodes before I start to form any sort of impression about it, although it usually helps if the first episode shows at least some promise. When I know it's a studio that's working on their first series, etc. I personally adjust my expectations for how it's going to be and will often times finish the series, not because it was good, but to see if there is potential for their following series.

Is it a good bl to quick binge??Also was today was the finale or is there any other ep coming?
Pretty sure it's the end as episode 5 was titled "End" and there was no preview for another episode or anything about a special episode.

Wait isn't there like 6 ep why is 5 finale
There wasn't an official announcement of how many episodes there was going to be when then release date, etc. info was updated.

I'm truly surprised that everyone seems to really like this one. It feels like a bit of a cashgrab to me: take…
What it might lack in originality it more than makes up for in the chemistry the whole cast has together. There's no crazy demented woman in it that can't handle that two men can love each other or any of the cliché stereotypes, etc. that are so common in the genre. It's just a plain, simple slice of life executed really well with a cast that feels like they're actually friends, etc.

The cast is great and honestly the only reason why I keep watching every week. Unfortunately the rest suffers the same weaknesses as everything else done my MAME, although the couple relationships aren't toxic so I guess that's an improvement. She's great at coming up with the most basic foundation for a character, but terrible at the actual fleshing out, developing their character as the story progresses, and never does anything but skim the surface of situations she writes that just come off as wanting to be edgy for attention and nothing more.

If you haven't already, watch episode 9. It has a completely different feel to it and it's almost like she had nothing to do with the episode. Even the performances from the cast feel completely different, like the shackles have come off and they were finally allowed to really be the character.

The episode that makes me drop this drama. I'm tired of Fiat's poorly acted PTSD. Tired of him over-reacting and…
I'm sticking out because of the actors who I think have a lot of potential if given the right material and direction.

I'll give MAME credit on one thing, she's good at coming up with the initial concept of a character, but have zero idea on how to actually flesh them out or how to write the story arcs for them. It's like she just wants to be edgy just to be edgy, and also has no understanding of how men actually think, express emotions, etc.

I mean, I won't say that I agree, but I will say that they look more natural together than almost any other BL…
You can always tell the actors that are comfortable with their partners and with doing intimate scenes because no matter how choreographed it is, it still looks natural, this with these two.

It's unfortunate that tv/movies choreograph the scenes as much as they do these days, we've gotten used to it, but it does take away something from the scenes.

I'm glad you didn't think I was trying to be rude, etc. with my initial comment.

Do you always know where to put your hands when you're having sex? lol

I personally think the fact that they really go in to the kissing and not just the camera angle trickery or the barely pressing lips part that the awkwardness in their hand placement makes it much more natural. Too often series / movies end up so tightly choreographing every slight moment that it ends up looking incredibly fake.

In character, yeah Fiat may have a lot of experience, but Leo not so much and their relationship is still so new and coming from being friends for so long that there would be a degree of awkwardness there.

Lmao. This was me. I had to fast forward through that mess. Two seconds was dedicated to the actual crime that…
They could easily spin off a Bas and Marco series where they are dealing with the fallout of him going public about Tee. Them dealing with that and the fallout from Bas's family probably shaming and disowning him would be enough drama and them working through it together, getting Bas help and them building a new life together from the ashes so to speak could easily fill out a series.

Unfortunately I think you're right though that they would try to overly pile on the drama and do the too typical conflict, split, reconcile arc that's so over used in the genre.
Replying to jpny01 Aug 21, 2021
Since that was the whole point of the series, that's the only thing it needed to get right.
Honestly other series have done a much better job at that aspect of the storyline and fandom. The real strength of the series was the abuse of power and assault that happens in the BL industry and the finale pretty much just left that as an after thought.
On Call It What You Want Season 2 Aug 21, 2021
I honestly don't remember the last time I was so disappointed in the ending of a season/series. The only thing that final episode got right was trying to hammer home that fans need to learn to separate fantasy from reality. The rest of the episode was just wasted screen time that should have been spent on the whole Bas/Tee/Marco/Kaprao storyline.
