This government approval news only adds to my desire for 2ha to air before LCR. Because in the very undesirable case that LYX would get targeted for the contents of 2ha, hopefully his forthcoming role in LCR would soften the blow.

This is exactly how I felt when Broker was announced/aired. I want both, but I fear all hope for 2ha to air soon is lost again.

I wish I could be optimistic like you to expect these to air soon enough to call these "upcoming" dramas. I'm way too jaded after waiting this long for 2ha. I guess I do have some shreds of hope for Immortal Samsara to air sooner. I feel like it's going to take awhile before all of the SFX for Till the End of the Moon would be done.

This article, like PPL itself, is pretty entertaining. Kicking off with Rio was the right choice. My parents are into wine, and I've mentioned to them before that C-Dramas have me convinced that Chinese don't drink wine for the taste because 1) It's almost always Rio. Is Rio actually popular in China? My mind sees neon drinks as poison, right or wrong. 2) Wine is always chugged. Drinking contest or not [I'm looking at you Meteor Garden 2019 kids]. The entire glass is finished in one-go, no sipping, and definitely no sniffing and swirling.

For me, the funniest PPL to date were the fancy toilets in Love, Now. My favorite car PPLs are MINI Coopers because I used to drive one. And the PPL that used to surprise me when I first started watching Asian dramas were sanitary products, but I soon realized it's a staple along with all of those others you mentioned. Oh and don't forget the teeny tiny cartons of milk? yogurt? whatever it is drink that seem to show up in every student drama.

I agree with RLP. I prefer And The Winner Is Love if I'm watching for my bias. LYX is a good actor whether the drama is modern or historical, but I'm convinced no one wears (and more specifically, moves within) historical costumes like he does. The biggest issue I had with ATWIS was the pacing, especially at the end. There's a ton of dialogue, which isn't everyone's cup of tea, and the script did some characters dirty IMO. The soundtrack, Leo, and his Moon Valley sets are all beautiful, which is enough for me. Edited to add: No LYX voice on this one either. He usually dubs himself, but it couldn't happen because of the covid shutdowns.

There are a few BTS videos on their page as well. Unfortunately, it seem that most of the LYX YT pages that I used to follow haven't been active in months. Not even a peep after Lie to Love was released.
