Yes it was intentional, as it was the first time for the hunter group to know the existence of humanoid Dixiao and also the present hunter group consists mostly inexperienced people. They will upgrade don't worry And at the end, the story and more conspiracy haven't unfolded yet Be patient because it's just 8 episodes of 32 total, just a quarter of the total drama .

I would recommend you to watch " tientsin mystic" from the same director of 'love on the turquoise land". It's a really very well made drama set in republican era with fantasy elements.

Same here, for some reason I feel that they are really going to be good together. Also I want her to work with zhu Yilong, like I have seen earlier interaction video of his and reba , let me tell you they have insane chemistry (almost at the same level as reba and yang yang).

You watch and judge yourself, reba has too many antis and they always come into force when her dramas are out. But my suggestion, atleast try first 4-5 episodes than decide.

I have noticed a pattern here, those who genuinely don't want to give this drama or any other drama a chance they are going to find smallest to smallest and unreasonable things to nitpick about. Their purpose is to satisfy themselves by discrediting others as they were already (even before watching the drama) were going to drop it. We should not take such crowd seriously. And I know if a drama is actually good it will get its due with time.
