What’s with this rating? This drama deserves way more than 8.2 .
rate graph shows it's rating should be between 8.3 or 8.4 right now according to majority of people rating it, I don't know why it's not increasing right now. And vos has average rating of 8.0 to 7.8 how it's showing 8.5 overall ratings I don't know. I seriously don't get what's going on with mdl rating because most of the time final rating always follows the rating graph eventually when the dramas ends. May be it will increase with time on this page too.

Eh.. but as a novel lover should not you be glad that you got another ending similar to novel? Why are you saying not to talk about 2 endings? When you have so much outrage that the drama don't 100 percent follows the novel. Like there are adaptations out there which totally butchers the novel characters and it's plot ( and I have seen that happening many many times) but here this drama is actually trying to maintain the essence of the novel and it's characters , has first 14 - 15 episodes exactly like the novel while including most of the key events from the novel throughout the drama that too without making it look out of place most of the time.
I didn’t watch this but I wanted to see the ending to check if it’s a HE and maybe add it to my watch list…
When you actually watch this drama and suffer through last 5 episodes with bitter sweet ending, it would be enough for you to see them getting atleast a clear happy ending, trust me.

Yes, in book author has given kind of more weight to mortal world and it's politics in comparison to void arch. Here drama has done just opposite of this and might be the cause of loss in male lead 's part in the drama. I feel like 40 episodes were really less for the script writer to give full justice to every character and to give both void and mortal arch equal weight. Though the novel is short but still I found the war part kind of anticlimactic in the novel itself also author didn't put much detailing in void arch. It was kind of she was capable of writing more detailed and beautiful story (it's already a good story) but she stopped herself from doing it.
When I was reading the novel I also found both luda and yanke character kind of intresting but they were not given Sufficient time in the novel.
But author really did very good job in writing both the leads and especially male lead. But in drama his part is reduced that's why his role comparatively seems less effective with respect to novel. I kind of understand why some fans of male lead in novel and the actor are dissatisfied.

I think they should have shortened the middle void arch, which got way too long for many people 's liking. This has led to cutting down of many scenes from the novel, as drama had only 10 eps left they had to cover the main story plus make the second lead look more powerful, leading them to shortchange other important characters and story lines.
I am not too concerned about MDL ratings especially for Reba's dramas. You know its the antis doing their best…
Problem is there is too much prejudice against reba for whatever reason, so most of the people are too judgmental and sceptical of her and her dramas, I agree she has too many antis and many of them have been her antis for years now i.e, way before c- dramas become this popular internationally. Have to say they played their part well in running their narrative. And they are still not going anywhere.
Anyways there are many reba fans and neutral, they know the truth.
