In my opinion, too..but everyone has different tastes. For me it was the best chinese drama I've seen to date…
The first 2 focused on the tribe people, the other episodes are VERY different trust me, when it focuses on the prince and so forth you get a very different scenery, so it's hard to judge with just those 2 episodes.
But still I can't guarantee you will enjoy it, just know that the first 2 episodes is a very bad way to judge the show.
Is this like a regular procedural with several cases or just one big case throughout the series?
I'm on episode 3, so far it has one main case for the twin brothers to solve = the main story, and then of course other side cases that take a few episodes to solve because it's part of their job. (still trying to solve the first case on episode 3)
To add to this, I'd compare it to the show Signal, it has a similar format, main story focus along with several cases that affects the main story due to the circumstances, so it doesn't feel like a typical procedural, it feels natural.
Yes true, GOT likely has much bigger budget, also they make like 10 episode a year.
Meanwhile this show has less budget and made almost 80 episodes in a few months, and it looks really good quality. If you think about it, that is VERY impressive.
