Don't know if it's them or this series. I've only ever seen them on Only Friends before this and they were okay on that. Based on what I have read in this comment section I think this series is for ages 8-14. It will bore and/or annoy anyone else. It's 24 episodes of filler to have something to advertise and keep the kiddies entertained.

I'm presuming you're referring to my comment? It was mainly a reflection of the type of content that people in SE Asia perhaps enjoy watching (or parts of SE Asia anyway) more than anything else - just like we in Europe like to watch things that others may not find entertaining or funny at all. Nothing wrong with that, it's just different cultures.

On the other hand there are other GMMTV BLs (and Thai programs/films) that are nothing like this one, and that I have quite enjoyed watching. So go figure. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe the problem with this series is not so much that it's too "culturally Thai" or whatever you want to call it, maybe it's just ... well... not very good.

Poon and JJ are about the only thing making this show bearable to watch!

I'm not sure the problem is the actors, I have seen them act before in other series. It's the writing and directing on this. It's like watching a kids program but with adult actors! Maybe it will improve but I'm not holding my breath...

At this point I am mostly watching it for Poon, and pretty much fast forwarding everything else as it is completely unwatchable. 24 episodes of this?? I don't know... maybe it's cultural and the over the top acting, annoying, cringey stuff works in SE Asia (including the stupid sound effects), and I'm just missing something. That would explain why so few Thai/Asian BLs have broken through the European market.

Sorry, I don't care how a character is written in a book, you have to adapt them for television! A book allows the reader to use their own imagination to create the character in their mind in whichever they want, in television that layer of imagination does not exist, and the character and acting HAS to be adapted and adjusted accordingly to work with the media. His character is so incredibly cringey and annoying on this show - he is unwatchable. I literally could not watch more than 3 seconds... I feel sorry for Santa - whoever has written or directed this needs to be fired! Very amateurish and lazy... Although to be fair to Santa many of the others (so far) aren't much better.

I'm trying really hard to watch this but they're not making it easy... the cringe level is off the charts and not in a good way. I find myself wincing and looking away most of the time. I had to fast forward about 90% of part 1 of episode 3 as it simply was not watchable. So much cheese! Where's the burger??!!

Agreed - not sure what the point of the surgery was. He looked naturally beatiful before but now looks a bit plastic. Cosmetic surgery is getting out of hand in Asia!

You're assuming they were aiming for continuity and not just gratuitous nudity! Not that I am necessarily complaining about the latter...

I've seen some pretty random and confusing storylines on some of their series as well, so not sure it's the direction necessarily.

This is BL mass production, and with the amount of actors, shows, concerts, programs etc GMMTV is trying to produce annually sadly quality is taking a hit. You might get one or two decent ones every year but the rest or mainly fillers.

But at least we get some eye candy!

Please introspect and calm down a bit. What do you think these shows and actors are trying to sell? I hate to break it to you but this isn’t Shakespeare - they’re selling sex and sex appeal! They literally want you to fantasise getting it on with them. Get off your high horse 🐴
