I couldn't take seriously the guy chasing them with the gun hahaha wth was all that sequence, the aim, the slow walk, the moment he is detained, he's on autopilot.

Blame the writers who decided to create such a lazy plot. They created a problem out of nothing.

They could have gone with 2 options:

* The 1FL thinks the 2FL hates her because she acts so cold and indifferent towards her, but in reality she likes her and tries to help her secretly or indirectly. (cliche but could've been executed well).

* The 1FL thinks the 2FL hates her because of a series of events which seems like she's trying to hurt her, and it seems like so from everyone's perspective, but in reality she was helping her (and we get to see both perspectives).

But instead they decided this nonsense plot.

The worst character in here is Prem's mother, being so manipulative, acting like she has no say, being a victim.

Then convincing Prem she was on her side by giving her the violin, but not by supporting her dreams to follow her passion, just the biggest gaslighter ever.

And now they're making Queen's mom the villain when in the book wasn't like that at all, her character was more empathetic and in the end she defended Bonita and respected Queen's decision, and they missed the most important dialogue at the end of the party by lady Kirin:

> And you... approve of me being with Queen?
> If I didn't approve what would you do?
> ...
> And if I approved what would you do?
> ...
> Would any of these answers make you abandon my daughter? If not, it doesn't matter what I think, what matters is that, if Queen ever decides to listen to me and leave you, only then you can ask me if I approve or not.

I'd love a director's cut or something like that that fixed many of these core issues. But I wouldn't change any of the FLs actresses, they're perfect, especially TK.

I find adding all this focus to the business plot and Kongthup is a waste of time when it wasn't in the book. The only time Kongthup appeared was when Bonita drank the aphrodisiac, and there is no mention of any project or discussions with the elders from the company.

There wasn't too much focus on Khem's character either; all of these casino scenes weren't there to start with.

And the one who stabbed Queen in the novel was actually Khem, without a mask or anything in front of many people, and Queen had many guards instead of just one, which made the scene have much more impact.

There's also all of the reflection behind the contract with Bonita's mother. Queen did all of this because she didn't want to see Bonita suffer because of her past.

The only addition I like a lot in the drama that's different from the novel is Sam as a character, such a charismatic guy.

This is a masterclass in communication and reflection from their friends. Loved episode 7, it gave an example of how to deal with those kinds of situations in a healthy way, unlike many other series where the misunderstandings are what keep the show alive.

Mind can do anything she wants, it's Aokbab who doesn't refuse her directly and it's breaking Rin's heart.

The brother carried the show

Episode 2 really improves the concept of the series.

It makes you realize why the dynamic is necessary by letting you know more about Bon's character and her refusing any type of help even if she has no clear plan to improve her life. The pacing is still a little off.

I couldn't really get how ML falls in love with FL.

He's handsome, good at everything that he does, has a nice personality, is a good dad.

The FL is pretty... And that's just it, she has a bad temper, doesn't care about her health, has no respect for her employee's personal life...

Could somebody please enlighten me? I want to believe there's more to it than this just being a woman's fantasy.
