I really pity Ka Kyung, I'm guess she's the one that ends up dead. I really wanted Han Joon to be with both his…
To me it seems like both Hyejin/Jakyung and Hisoo have joined hands together. That fight at the end of episode 8 was total concocted between the two ladies.
I kept thinking this as well. But if this is the case why wouldn't she have told Jiyong that Hisoo miscarried? That is if they are in it together. If they aren't then it still makes sense. I wonder if the chairman woke up or if he will? They showed him a lot at the end of episode 8.
Okay so I'm thinking Mother Emma finds both Hisoo and other woman on the ground in a pool of blood leaves out of shock but goes back in and Hisoo is gone/alive. I mean they also could be alluding to a third death but I highly doubt it. Hisoo is a fighter.
I wonder if she got the money for staying away from their family? Like the grandmother could've paid her a big…
Yeah after episode 6 I agree they probably will never get along. I thought for a split moment Hyejin would turn her back on him but yeah she'd never side up with her.
Same I was a bit let down too. I get his character, it's just he doesn't come off as a chaebol.
I honestly really like his acting in this. It just displays to me that he doesn't want to live in this cookie-cutter life he's been setup since birth to live in. To him he isn't a chaebol, he's just a normal guy. Now I won't say he's the best actor in the show. Lee Hyun Wook is definitely doing great, I mean we've seen him display so many characteristics. Lee Bo Young and Kim Seo Hyung too! Ok Ja Yeon is immaculate at playing this type of character too. I get the most annoyed with the grandmother's acting but I know Korean's like when they overact so I'm also not surprised with her.
The husband has kept his sadistic/sociopathic side under wraps and hasn't let that persona appear in front of…
I wonder if she got the money for staying away from their family? Like the grandmother could've paid her a big sum of money to get her away from them. So that could be where she got the money. Also I'm wondering if Hisoo and Hyejin/Jakyung will become closer and the husband will be on the outs for them both. Or if they both die it could be because of him. I mean he's obviously a much different person than we've been lead to believe so far.
Her brother has the worst acting I've seen in a while! That crying scene in Ep 4, was it a spoof or what? *Eyeroll…
Yeah I think Dawon's there for comic relief. His acting isn't necessarily bad outside that scene either. I think it was like that because right outside the hospital Myeol Mang was bringing doom to the criminal. So they were like contradicting each other. Funny & Doom.
guys, i don't think he will die at the end... I don't know if I misunderstood but there's a scene in here (after…
Yeah the only way for Myeol Mang to die is for the world to end. Because if the world doesn't exist he doesn't need to exist to bring doom to it. Also the deity to me seems to be trying to teach Myeol Mang a lesson, she keeps asking him if he feels sympathy. I'm wondering if maybe he's forgotten how to sympathize with people or is trying to not to do because the toll it has taken upon him that he's had to bring doom upon the world for as long as he has. The deity does seem to be interested in Dong Kyung though, solely because she's now linked to Myeol Mang through their contract. There is probably more to the story here that we haven't gotten yet. I don't think he wants to break the contract because he'd find no one else to sincerely wish to bring doom upon the world. If the contract breaks she'll still die of course. But either way she dies because if she wishes for doom upon the world and it ends everyone dies. It's also the same for her brother. If she doesn't wish he dies; if she does wish he dies along with everyone else too.
My prediction for the ending is the FL is convinced into doing the surgery & miraculously heals & the ML wakes…
Ohhh that would be cool. Or maybe he heals her of her illness before he wakes up if he happens to be in a coma? This could be why he frequents the hospital so much and as to why God is there?
lolll why are you so offended over that? I’m an Asian-American and she’s right most of them wear shoes inside…
What was said in episode 3 again about an American household? Personally as an American I'm not offended by the wearing shoes indoor thing because we do. I honestly thought it was kind of funny. My mom always complains about us wearing our shoes in the house since it gets the floor dirty.
Is it just me or is the second couple/love triangle not that interesting? I like all of them and they look so…
I agree. To me its not interesting because so far I'm not seeing the connection in them and the main storyline. Honestly the second couple/triangle thing just seems like filler to me. Like what is the purpose of their stories? How do they connect to Dong Kyung and Myeol Mang? Is it solely just because Dong Kyung is friends with her and the guy is her boss? IDK seems too different right now. But I'm hoping there's some big connection there or ah-ha moment that makes me like that small portion of the story. It's not terrible but I agree its mediocre so far. I am also curious who'll she end up with. I think it's crazy to see both Soohyuk and Taeoh as second male leads...like I'd expect for at least one of them to be in it but not both.
I might be in the few here, but aren't they falling too fast? They both are visuals....I like PBY but I feel like…
I don't think either of them has feelings for the other yet so I don't think it's moving too fast. Especially since in the preview Doom says for her to wish to fall in love with him. I think the whole purpose of them falling in love will be that he'll realize he wants to live and she'll realize coming to love him is a mistake because she'll then have to lose someone she loves yet again. I think the whole purpose is to just cause us the watchers to feel doom as well. Cause we'll feel bad for them too. I think by falling in love with him Dong Kyung will come to understand he's been living in doom himself. I mean he's the cause of all of this chaos and yet she seems to think he doesn't feel anything by doing this. But I think he does even though he denies it. God keeps asking him if he feels sympathy. I'm wondering if this is not just some big test for him by God herself. IDK I am still slightly confused too but it's a pleasant confused.
I think it was just that she was poor and possibly became a mistress of a guy who frequented the flower shop.…
No problem. For all we know the "florist" place could've just been a front for escorts. I know its usually karaoke places that are fronts (at least I've seen this in a few dramas.) but we'll see I'm sure!
Here's what i believe:Kang Ja Kyung is the biological mother of Han Ha Jun, and is Han Ji Yong's first true love.…
I agree something has to happen that links Sister Emma to the family other than her being the leader of the prayer group Hisoo's in. She seems to know way too much and for her to appear and sort of narrate the story at parts it just seems like she plays a deeper role than what we've been showed so far. I never even thought she'd be the lover of Chairman Han. That is a great point! Also in episode 4 Sister Emma seems to know a bit of a way to get revenge. She says the best thing to do in place of wishing somebody dead is to pretend that they are dead...idk this just seems to be hinting at something. I don't think that scene was there just to fill up space in an episode.
God I feel so bad for Hisoo. She believed her husband truly loved her but he's still seeing his ex behind her back. And she obviously deeply cares for his son and for the birth mom to be so ruthlessly rude to someone who's taken care of her son for years is just awful. I mean I get that the birth mom/tutor rightfully should get to be with her son but Hisoo had nothing to do with her not being able to be with him. I also feel horrible for Seohyun. She's trying so hard to fit into her role. And don't even get me started on Soohyuk, poor guy just wants to live his life how he wants to and not how his family wants him to. I originally had great respect for Jiyong but I hate him now. I like Jinho better at this point.
Flew through the first few episodes and I'm very intrigued about what's to come. All of the characters seem layered…
I think it was just that she was poor and possibly became a mistress of a guy who frequented the flower shop. But I could be wrong. Even though it was translated as a florist it definitely sounded more so like she was as escort like the user above mentioned. At least the tutor made it seem like it was so.
I have another thought about it and now this is what I think.perhaps he is unable to kill himself. If he could…
Yeah I don't think he can die as of now because he exists for there to be doom. So he can't die because there can't not be doom (earthquakes, death, etc.) But if there is no world for there to be doom in then he can just not exist. That's why he wants her to wish for the end of the world. I'm not sure if her falling in love with him will even help her at this point though I do get her motives. She thinks he'll die but will he really and will God allow for that to happen. Her plan might end up being a double-edged sword for her. I can't wait for more. God is kind of sketchy me out as of now with how she's approaching Dong Kyung. Also I'm wondering if God makes it long enough in this current life that she won't take one for the team and die in place of Dong Kyung. Because I think she mentioned early on that she's lived multiple short lives. (I could be thinking entirely wrong though.)
Also I'm wondering if Hisoo and Hyejin/Jakyung will become closer and the husband will be on the outs for them both. Or if they both die it could be because of him. I mean he's obviously a much different person than we've been lead to believe so far.
