Episode 5 was so cute and omg that ending how can I wait for a whole weeek I’m becoming obsessed with this drama
At least it's not an obsession party of one- I'm right there with you! I tried to wait until several episodes stacked up but I just can't. I want to know what happens!
I want to make sure I understand correctly. The Buttface jerk in Sparkling not only is a punk to our beloved Yu-Jin but he was an original member of Shax AND he's secretly dating a trainee??? Ugh kick him out.
When I first heard about the show I wasn't really interested. And then couple weeks ago I decided to give it a try and I am so hooked. This weeks episode just made me smile and laugh so much. I really like seeing the ML let his hair down so to speak and show that he actually does have a personality. I mean I've always liked him from the beginning but it's good to see him acting so nervous and so unsure of himself. I really really really really wish this was not one episode a week!!
My thoughts exactly, I have already even watched it, hehe
I agree I haven't heard anything outside of this message board about it. However I may have watched it already. I was going to try and wait for tomorrow but I couldn't.
OK call me crazy but I swear that if you look closely at the cast that walks in for that first movie premiere the first person to walk in at 46:53 is Lee Dong Wook. I might be crazy but I swear I have rewound it and I have paused it and it looks so much like him. I have no idea who in the world it could be but it looks just like him. I don't know why in the world he would have done a little cameo like that would be pointless but my eyes are either seeing things or it's really him. I mean OK there's no way in the world it's actually him because he's too high paid an actor to do a little tiny cameo on the side of the screen. But whoever it is he looks a lot like him. Check it out let me know what you think.
Love this article! I'm from Portugal and I am a viewer of asian dramas (Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese) since 2018.…
Teresa, I’m from the US and I think we may have become Asian drama fans at the same time! I started with MG in 2018 because Netflix insisted I would love it even though I don’t speak Mandarin (well I’ve been learning it since then, but at the time zero). Very few people I know watch them either.
What is the mean of the nickname dt? I dont remember..
It means "Appledog's Time" i'm guessing the D as in dog instead of a… Don't really understand why he went with DT instead of AT but I'm going to just let it be.
In the webtoon Eun Jo falls in love with a girl, who is essentially a honeytrap set by Ryok's brother. He wanted…
Ohh that's interesting. I could see that being a part of it. I really wish they did two episodes a week so we would get into that story a little bit more sooner than we will.
In the Webtoon the girl doesn't exist (Maha, Hyun Ji and Ria are the original members of their group - no replacement)…
Thank you for the insight. It is interesting how much they seem to be changing the webtoon but not surprising of course. Like I said I haven't read it so I don't know but just based on the comments I've seen it seems as though this is it's own entity and not really using the source material that much. I suppose if I had read it I would be upset but as I haven't read it I don't know but I should be upset. I will say that while it's pretty cliché that the leads have a prior connection, I do find the flashback scenes cute.
So if they're not really using the source material for the two characters perhaps my theory will be correct. I guess we will just have to wait for EJ to show up again and explain what the Hecks going on. Also, perhaps JH is doing all of this for the girls as repentance because he feels as though he caused the death/disappearance.
Also I just finished episode three last night and it looks as though they fixed the problem with her hair. Although they never really addressed the fact that she now has long hair again. I'm assuming they just decided to go get her extensions because she had cut it. But whatever they did the extensions seem to be a little more natural then they did prior to the end of episode three. Maybe the stylist figured out how to make it work. I actually saw a behind-the-scenes video of her with her real hair and I think she's adorable I wish they would have kept it.
So I haven't really seen a lot of theories here about the girl who died and the guy who disappeared. But maybe I just need to scroll further down. My question is this: it appears that they are connected and that JH is the one who confronted both of them prior to their disappearance/death. And it appears that they must've been involved with one another because they had the matching cell phones. So I'm guessing that they were in a secret relationship and she got pregnant and either she sadly killed herself or was killed by someone. I know this seems really dark for a show like this but I'm really wondering if that's what they're going to end up revealing in the end. Then again I haven't read the web tune although I've been seeing in the threads that this show is not like the webtoon. What's the storyline in the webtoon with those two? is my theory even close?
I must admit I am really enjoying the show. Yes there is come cliché parts and yes a really really really want to shave the main leads hair off because it's horrible but I am liking it and I really wish it was two episodes a week.
Maha's hair throw me off, it's like she's wearing a wig. Also, I really don't get the fans', obsession with idols'…
I must agree that as an international family really don't understand the level of possessiveness the Korean fans feel for their idols. Yes I have my favorite singers and favorite actors but never wants not even in my crazy days as a teenager was I ever that possessive. I find it sad that actors and actresses and singers have to apologize to fans when they get married. But again like I said it's a culture I don't understand. And I respect that that's part of their culture.
OK I'm slightly annoyed at the fact that Wu Bai admits to Ai Qing (and the world) why his nickname is DT but never tells her why he named the team K&K. I mean if you're going to add that to the story you should at least reveal it to the girl. But whatever I still like the show.
