This drama is getting interesting to watch... Twist and twist again. The wicked father has striked again. Great actings by all in this drama.. Good castings. ML gave the eastern and ethnical aura and this is great.
This corporate romance drama was so real as per actual in life. Fate will at the end made IT statement. Good flow and pace of drama to keep me going in watching the drama. Miles Wei has never disappointed me in modern corporate romance drama and he did well here. Karlina Zhang was also good and chemistry with ML was convincing. I enjoyed watching this drama.
Initially I started this drama with just an average thought on it but amazingly this drama is performing above my expectation. The story is good and so far the drama has keeping it's pace well. Chen Du Ling as FL in this drama suits the character well, looked timid but dangerous. I have never watch Xin Yin Lai as ML before and he is superb in this role. Good casting of supporting actors too. Looking forward for new episodes.

In my opinion, based on my earlier understanding of First Frost and it's intention, this drama supposed to focus on Sang Yan much deeper than focusing on Yi Fan. Yes , we know she is struggling but I thought First Frost is to follow specific on Sang Yan's life and his ups and downs, even on business and work...maybe I am wrong here so the expectations differ from the way the story brought out.
In general the story was good and it showed the dedication of Sang Yan for years to win the love of his life. Bai Jing Ting has portrayed the character very well indeed. Wen Yi Fen is a complex character and really required determination and patience for San Yang to continue pursuing her. Zhang Ruo Nan has also done well here. However, I have problem with the pace of this drama that sometimes made me wanted to skip some parts. Unlike in Hidden Love which totally focused on Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu, in First Frost there is also a story on 2ML and 2FL which need not be focused on. Hence, in my opinion, this drama is not as solid and as memorable as Hidden Love. 😅 Anyway, I love the OSTs and cinematography of this drama, beautiful indeed.
I am not sure why but this drama is nice to watch. I like the approach or concept given to this drama. Rong Shu Kuang is an interesting character to watch as she is a carefree and full of fun but can be serious at times. While Yan Shao is serious, cold and the complete opposite but yet they can 'click' well when it comes to matter of the hearts. The OSTs are also interesting. Anyway, I enjoyed watching this drama.
What a beautiful love story. Nicely written without much hiccups and smooth from start to end. Superb actings by both ZLH and XRH giving a realistic love story for us. The OSTs are so nice and jive well with the story. Beautiful cinematography indeed. Thank you to the Director and team.
The story is decent and ok to watch. Good flow of story and reasonable. I don't quite like the FL character and the way it has been portrayed here, a bit off. ML character was a bit passive and less dominant in this drama. A bit of romance but not much. Anyway, good effort in actings by all. This drama is watchable.
Nice drama to watch with not much schemings. I have problem with 2 characters in this drama, Fang Qing Chen of being over obsessive with FL due to a very short encounter and the little sister whom I thought should be a bigger girl considering the flashback that showed the 2 girls before the tragedy. How can one grow faster than the other? So logical approach in castings of actors are also important here for a drama. I love the OST.
Nice drama to watch and smooth flowing until the end with barely minimum boring parts. 1st time watching DW as ML and this role suited him well. JX has also done well in this drama. From the start, I have been informed that this will be a sad ending from a feiend who read the novel. I still watched this as I love the actings of both CZY and LJ. A mellow drama but added with plenty of hardship and tragedies in the East country or maybe too much of them. In my opinion, the actings were good by both ML and FL but especially CZY was awesome in this drama. If the episodes can be shorten (remove some unnecessary from the East Country scenes) and focused to smoothen the sad ending so that it will not be blurry for me to understand. YES, they died but it can't be just be described by the white olive tree and images of both ML and FL? This is a good story but unfortunately the script was not good enough and at the same level of the superb actings...
I enjoyed this drama better as compared to.... (similar conncept and aired at about the same time). The story flowed smoothly and the CGIs were reasonable and balance so I enjoyed watching this drama. As usual, BL was good in her character and ARP had also done well here. I like the costumes for this drama.
The MOTHER is the real HERO in this drama. A wonder woman in raising her children to be where they are now. Superb acting by Nie Hong Jie in this drama and I respected Madam Li as it is not easy to manage 5+1 wonderful daughters. This is a good family drama to watch and I enjoyed it. Thank you.
The absurd part of this story is that why a King is holding on a person? The Yannan King cannot live without Qi Luo and Beixuan King without Xuan Lie? The actings based on the characters given are reasonable. The Director made the FL to be too heartless and cold. Pity XL that always worked hard to win JQL's heart... Very tiring in my opinion. I love the costumes and cameraman efforts in providing beautiful scenes to watch. Anyway, I love the OSTs in this drama.
This is a beautiful drama about the life of a woman who are courageous to survive. The actings were good by all, YZ and LX suited the characters they carried in this drama. Pitied Liu Chang who was weak and being used by his parents, MW did well here. Satisfied with the ending as at least it concluded with the successful business for FL. I love the OSTs, beautiful songs indeed. Thank you to the production team. Looking forward for S2 and hopefully will give a beautiful ending for FL and ML relationship.
This drama started nicely and growing well feom episode to episode. However, somewhere after episode 28, I felt the flow of story just becoming less attractive to watch and this continued till end. Fortunately, the actings were good by the main characters considering this drama is using plenty of CGIs.. Imagine them working with green screens for the actors at most time. Anyway, despite all that, thos drama is still watchable.
What is the objective of the story as the ending was going nowhere. I like the humour parts and the 'person' at the bereau that you can only see his backs. The episodes became interesting gradually increasing the pace from 30 to 39 then I am lost. The hero is became a loner? what happened to his relationship with everyone? Unfinished wrap up of these aspects. And suddenly the 'mastermind/villain' appeared at the end and told the ML.. I am your father??? THE END. Looking at the ending part, will there be S2? Anyway, it is a different approach for a drama but loose ends should be tighten up and closes properly.
This drama is interesting to watch with WTC as a strong villain @ psycho killer getting away with the police using his shrewdness. JH as usual suited well in his role as a police officer with superb actings. I have pro lem in watching FL's hair when it was loose.... In my opinion, this drama can do away with episode 36 which was anti climax. Anyway, good drama to watch.
