The drama started well when ML chases FL without rest beforw he managed to get her. Then after they broke up, the plot and screen writing deteriorated for ML and FL, unlike for 2ML & 2FL. It was worst towards the end. FL cried so much and ML just disappeared like that without much been done on investigation and elaboration on the case. She kept lying to herself to keep her 'hope' alive. Till the end she kept imagining ML to be back.... Good actings by all but bad script to work on..
I enjoyed this drama as much as I enjoyed New Life Begins.. A good family drama to watch with political strategies, romance, obsession and revenge were all there. A bit slow at the beginning but the pace improved steadily till the end. As usual, Zang Wan Yi nailed it as the ML with his superb actings. Ci Sha had also convincingly carried his role well that you felt his obsessions with FL and at the same time I pitied him. Good actings by all. I like the camera works and also the costumes. Congratulations to production team.
Good drama but can be better if the % of screening time to emphasise the relationship between FL and ML. Too much of palace matters related with Concubine Chu. Zang Zhe Han as the iced cold prince was impressive but should give more space for the ML to show his affections with FL. The ending was too open end but luckily covered by episode 49 and 50 to choose from.
I was thinking the same. It's the greatest love story that never actually happened. It's probably timeless because…
Timeless but without the 'love' part shown. His devotion is timeless as shown in final episode., still grieving till the end. Anyway, I love the actings by main characters.
Tragic ending is not a problem to me but the title of Snowy Nights, Timeless Love is probably not align to the actual. Where is the Timeless Love? Unspoken love? Not much can be seen even after 8 years of frienship. Any romance? Anyway, good job by Joseph Zeng and Li Qin in their characters. I love Miao Feng character as well. His smile was 'contagious' and difficult to read his mind. Anyway, I enjoyed this drama.
What can I say...the story flow and pace were good from beginning but in the middle the story just drifted and got back the pace later. Actings were good by all. ML and FL characters are more of serious type to achieve their goals. While 2ML and 2FL are rugged and carefree type. The only thing that I don't like about the screen writing of this drama towards the end when 2ML was fighting Na Zhan's team the suddenly 2FL interfered as if she can save the day and at the end 2ML died... What a waste.. 2ML was awesome in his character. 😁
Beautiful family, frienship and love relationships showed in this drama. Best friends forever team made us remember our school days. ML was aso patient with FL to win her heart. I like the actings of all. Anyway, the ending can be better if it wrap up with the families in there. Zhang Xin Cheng nailed it with his emotions and cute character.
Good drama to watch. Strong ML and 2ML characters. Both Allen Ren and Jeremy Tsui delivered well. Very naive character for FL and pity her for being taken advantage by both ML and 2ML. A sad ending but at least ML managed to find the answer and love of his life. Costume can be better for 2ML and his mother as most of the time they were in purple theme clothings. Beautiful cinematography and OSTs. Thank you production team and Director.
Tragic ending but is a wonderful drama to watch. Allen Ren and Bai Lu were superb. Even the young Wang Xing Yue's acting was good. No wonder he becomes ML these days. What can I say. Music based theme is nice once in a while to watch. Giod compositions of musics presented in this drama but yhe screen writing was bad and sometimes childish in my opinion. Acting by ML and FL were good but stucked with bad script. Anyway, I managed to complete this drama.
This drama is watchable. I love ML and FL characters. Though FL is considered a newbie but she acted well as FL and she carried it well. DYX as ML has never disappoints me in his actings. The plot where Lai Luo Zhi was given an important role when Empress Dowager Zhou was sick was a bit odd even if the reason was to test the villain as it is norm tgat a Prime Minister will manage. Maybe there is a better way so screen writing need to be logical too. Production need to alao be alert in the costumes of supporting roles as we should not be seeing the same costume for YAN family members as they appeared many times wearing the same outfit. Overall, this drama is ok.
Strong FL and suitable for this drama. However, FL should also be 'injected' higher dose of emotions with when she is with ML to make the affections realistic. I can only see the ML trying hard and did well on the emotions part. There were only some unnecessary scenes which I just skipped especially after episode 25. However, the story was good at the beginning so I rate this drama as good.
I have just completed my 2nd round watching this drama. Still found it interesting and hilarious with a superb actings by ML especially and good one too by FL. Even the supporting actors performed well. In 2024, only this drama and The Double attracted me to watch more than once or even more in the future due to completeness of the drama in story, plot, balance actingsby both leads, costumes, cinematography, etc... Really appreciate the quality.
I have watched until episode 18 and finally decided to drop this drama. Unrealistic to see thieves can get their way so easily in the palace with poor investigations made by the team to close the matter. Director and production team need to rethink their approach for next project.
Naivety or stupidity? Simple logic of thinking in her behaviors when FL is inside the palace area as compared to her behaviors when she was outside previously. Director and production should be ensure the screen writing of the story to be realistic enough for us to digest. Anyway, I have only reached episode 11. I am also confused in the costumes aspects between the modern Emperor and the rest in the palace while outside the palace seemed to be very modern, even a girl wearing short skirt was seen. Even disparity of technology between inside and outside the palace made me confused until now. Acting wise all are good in carrying their roles. Anyway, I will still continue to watch this drama.
