I don't think anyone would watch if they had done that.
She gets her true body like a fourth into the story.
It's important. It shows how ML fell in love with her, despite her looks. It shows why no one realised it was her and how they thought she really was a man. Only the white haired ml knew she was a girl.
In the drama the FL looks the same before and after so why wouldn't ppl recognize her? A whole kingdom was looking for FL, but couldn't find her because of her face changing power. Now the drama looks plain stupid
As someone who read the novel, if they were to follow it, they would've had an actual man portray MC at the beginning. She had a magical tool change her appearance that changed her whole body, obviously including face. She had literally forgotten how her actual face looked since she hadn't used it since she was a child
Why does it say it was adapted from the manhwa "Bride of the Water God"??? Other than the names and identity of the main characters, everything else os different
I've read the book - which is a masterpiece. And Ye Shi (actor Deng Wei) is the male lead there. Although I've…
Honestly, FL could have ended with either one of them. She was ready to give her heart to whomever loved her most and could give her a home. But bcz of circumstances and character's choices, she loved and ended up with YS. I think the author said ZX was the FIRST ML. There are 3 main male leads, and maybe she considered him the most important. Although, from the book, the 3 were equally as important (all of the readers thought so). What ppl are asking is who she ends up with.
I really don't understand why people become to offensive in this kind of story when there is cousins or some close…
Yep, FL never had romantic feelings for her cousin. All 3 MLs loved her(romantically), but out of the 3, she only had familial feelings for her cousin(they're blood related cousins). The cousin also marries FL's step-sister, who is his cousin as well (although he technically doesn't have blood relations with this cousin). He marries many women, although he only loves FL.

What? All 3 guys were sort of equally important, but the only one she dated and she ends up with is Ye Shi. I've read the novel myself and also many reviews of the novel. Ppl either considered YS as the one ML or all 3 of them as MLs. No reader thought ZX is the ML, and actually he was the least liked by the fans out of the 3 guys.
FL never considered ZX romantically, but he was the most important person to her, as the cousin she grew up with. He was one sidedly in love with her, but married many women(for power) and she never felt jealous and congratulated him happily every time. And after he confessed to her, she was confused, asked for more time to think, but then their relationship was ruined forever after she found out he was the one who planned Ye Shi's murder. He's the one that wronged her most in the novel.
Maybe the author meant ZX is the deuteragonist, as in the second most important character after the FL. I searched it up and haven't found that interview, so if you have it, please share with me, even if it's in Chinese.
Anyway, what ppl were asking is who she ends up with, which should be Ye Shi.

I don't know about Korea but in some parts of Europe crippled people couldn't sit on the throne. In my country…
Fair enough, I do wonder if the kings not being allowed to have any disabilities in S.Korea is historically accurate (even if in my opinion it's not impeding his leadership or anything).
I just think ppl would be more suspicious in FL's case because 1. the motive isn't valid enough and 2. why would she incriminate herself without trying to cover up at all if it was really her? Would one poison the food everyone knows they cooked and skip the meal and all that? It's one of those crimes where you wonder who would be stupid enough to leave all the evidence pointing to themselves if they did commit the crime. And the unrealistic point for me is how no one is suspecting this is strange.
First 10 minutes and I don't get what's the problem with the Crown Prince not being able to use his right arm? Even if he had lost one arm, he can still use the other to write or whatever. Even if he also lost a leg, I don't see how this impedes him from being a king? Next 10 minutes, and everyone is sure the FL killed her whole family because she loves another guy and doesn't wanna get married. Like how tf is killing her whole family gonna help? She could've just ran away with her lover, or killed her fiancée while trying not to get caught. But now she's on the run from the police, so she's lost her family, wealth and so-called lover. This all makes no sense whatsoever. And then the usual fight of many against one with the FL where they each take turn in attacking so they can lose.
do you know what's happen around the ending of novel?? i read it was qui a mess because writers add final boss
hmm no, it wasn't a mess they moved to ML's country after he ascended the throne (his older brother died from what I remember) but it's basically the second arc at that point and a lot of new characters introduced in the other country
