is this true , i didnt notice. i was so immersed in the story to realise it was made with less budget- kudos to the team for making such a beautiful series where it still looked rich despite made on lesser budget

they could have fleshed it out to season 2 with the amount of meat this drama has.. surprisingly they arent milking it

ML always knew there FL was the one engaged to marry him. FL didnt know anything , about her family , its members , her supposed bethrotal , and the betrothed. from his side, she is the one he was supposed to wed ( and may have hold special place in his heart and mind though he ended up wedding her sister) , for her , other than her mom, i dont think she feels family with the rest - more so with a dead elder sister... so fu yunxis previous marriage to a stranger whom she didnt see, meet or have any emotional connect with - why would it matter .. he is the only male she knows somewhat, who helped her more than once in her plots , her survival and her familys survival and in saving her female friend .. and has capacity to help her avenge in future as well... is this not reason enough to like and form an emotional basis ..

it takes sometime to get used to ancient customs. many seem crude, but our ancients had their own logic in involving in these practices . it seems they had serious survival issues , and they went to great lengths to survive successfully

if you notice they havent been spending much time in flashbacks , they could have streched xiwen's backstory.. they told it very crisply.. am thinking that would be the approach.. no fluff , only meat ..

There is clearly a karger power behind all these happenings.. her father may have sided with them and reaped some benefits.. the story will still continue with FL pursuing thise behind all these events

Atleast her motyer would have died with satiafaction of bringing justice to her family , herself and her child

What if consort miao is the actual kingpin of the entire happenings... dont forget it is not easy to rise to consort level. One needs huge power backing towards the same. If some mysterious power helps her rise and the same power helped her take down xiwen's family and her ..may be jealousy or other reasons
. And now FL trying to take her help to get her mom divorce her dad.. will this backfire

i cant imagine the life led by the FL and her mom, constantly under danger without care and affection - her mom at least had some loyal servants around. our ancestors had it really rough . cant imagine a gen Z surviving such a life.. they cant handle simple hardships , forget leading such a ruthlessly harsh life...

What sort evil person will try to hurt a cripped person again, when the said persons daughter saved the entire family from being beheaded not so long ago.. there is no bone of gratefulness in the concubine and her kids.. pure evil 😈

Given the emotions FL lead's mom underwent while revealing the past, they cant take the FL belongs to a different family narrative , since they said , FL mom was living happily and peacefully for 2 years before she conceived FL.. she cant belong to a different family unless babies are exchanged at birth.. but how is her birth possible since the said family was decimated 20 years back around the time FL mom got married. Unless FL parents survived , had this child and exchanged with FL MOM'S own birthed child.. ok too much confusion /complexity it adds to the story if they take this narration ...that would be too much for 16 episodes to depict .. 😂
