I think you're right about them having Madam Lin adopt LSY. Though Yining didn't say it outright, she is trying to imply the same thing imo when she said to Madam Lin "when third brother succeeds and becomes a top scholar, you will be the top scholar's mother!"
The fact that both NIF and SFD, two peak dramas, aired around the same time back in September and October of 2015 makes me jealous of the people who watched these two in real time when they were airing. I cannot imagine the excitement of the viewers who were watching both. Imagine watching NIF and then BOOM Six Flying Dragons drops.

There's the scene of XY shooting an arrow at XL in the trailer, which hasn't happened yet in the drama, so they have also changed the sequence of events. I really hope we get the XL scenes somehow, because a girl (me) needs some nice, light scenes of XL before he meets his destiny.

Yeah, my words have been misinterpreted 😅 I stated that I'm sad for XL because he's left all alone and he himself chose to be this way because he has a goal to achieve. I used 'loser' with much affection lol and, death & loneliness, I'd assumed that most of us already know is where XL is headed in pursuit of his goal. If I hated XL then wouldn't have said that I am sad for him. And if I hated TSJ then I wouldn't call him adorable. Didn't expect people to get triggered by this LOLLL

I wouldn't call it Dirty Job because I personally was waiting for someone to come and interrupt that wedding and FFB doing it was so iconic of him. Also, Jing was expecting XL to do something before the wedding, in a more private setting yk, because XY wouldn't hear one word from Jing himself since he didn't have any evidence that Tian is not his son by then. And his payment to XL actually helped XL to get food for the soldiers who would've otherwise suffered a lot, so I think it was an equivalent exchange.
It's so evil of LYF team to go from XY and TSJ being all happy and lovey dovey to sad loser boy Xiang Liu who is on the path to death and is drowning in the loneliness that he himself consciously chose to have. I am already very sad for him so they do not have to put it in my face like this.
