King of Haoling had extended the wedding date by a week so he had ample time to talk to and convince Xiaoyao to not marry Fenglong but he chose to demand her to run away from the wedding by bringing up the oath she made to him. Her being angry is so valid but also, FFB is an iconic bitch for crashing that wedding lol. My jaw was no the floor the whole time. Episode 6 was such a banger from start to finish.

I feel like her character would evolve into the same vein as Consort Hua in Empresses in the Palace, that is, if she doesn't die before that, because I also know that she will do something stupid like scheming or complaining against Xiaoyao and we know that CX would not hear one word about that.

Xiang Liu and Xiaoyao's whole star crossed lovers vibe is so good and sad. She for sure would be with him if he would just make the damn move and choose her but clearly in this lifetime they are meant to be doomed. This drama's main strong point is its two leads' chemistry. Their scenes together are addicting. The plot's execution is rough around the edges, the antagonists are borderline caricatures, but all of it is so much fun and absolutely entertaining lol.

There's no official news about the release dates of other chapters yet but I don't think there will be a year gap between each chapter because I think the waiting period between two seasons/parts is 3 months as per the new rule. not sure tho

yeah the cast is huge but It's not two different series but rather 5 parts/chapters based on the Wuxia Universe that Jin Yong created in his novels. Hot Blooded is 30 episodes, the rest 4 chapters have around 8 episodes each and one of them has only 6 episodes.
